I have a small collection from when I was younger. My grandma used to give them to me, I have an orange owl one she gave me as well as one that looks like a lantern. I also used to get them sometimes for birthdays. In my bathroom I have a 4 watt one, just a cheap one from Walmart. But I like the light it makes, it's nice to use at night and also I tend to use it in the mornings, because I don't like bright light at night or when I first wake up.
I also have a couple of the ones that swivel, which are LED.
Plus I have an older GE one that's fluorescent, I got that as a kid.
Generally, I prefer the ones with a switch rather than a sensor, because the sensor type seem to stay on all the time. We also have a few LED versions that have no switch at all, but stay on all the time.

I have a "collection" of night lights. As a kid I loved them. I kept a couple from my childhood and added a bunch to my collection in the 2 last years. I could post pictures, I think I have ten or so. I prefer the ones with the small c7 light bulbs. I like them when they have a special shade or something that makes them look like bigger lamps. As a kid I used to have one that looks like an exterior lamp. Too bad I lost it in time.

I wouldn’t say I collect them, but I have accumulated a few over the years that I like and I do find some of them interesting, particularly the cold cathode fluorescent ones.. I used to have one somewhere but I can’t find it, I haven’t seen it in quite a while.. The style seems to have become very rare now..
I use 2 ‘nightlights’ in the house regularly, I made them out of old landscape lights probably 10 or 15 years ago.. I like the room very dark to sleep so a conventional nightlight is a bother to me.. These are perfect because they just provide a soft glow on the floor, enough to see to walk around without turning the lights on, but it’s not bright enough to disrupt my sleep.. I also find the warm amber color to be less abrupt and not harsh on the eyes at all, even after just waking up.. I have one in the corner of the hall by the bedroom doorway, and another in the bathroom..

Those look pretty cool, I like how they light the floor.
I like some of the newer LED night lights, I've gotten a few. I have some of the swiveling spot light type and also a louvered one that looks like the lights you see on stairways.
In my bedroom I don't use any night lights since I prefer it to be dark to sleep. Any lights or backlit clocks bother me, especially blue ones.

I have one of those louvered lights somewhere as well, I used to use it in the bathroom but it was short lived because it took up too much space on the outlet and I couldn't plug in the heater.. I'm the same way with stuff in the bedroom, I put pieces of sticky paper over indicator lights on the cordless phones and surge projectors, and I put a piece of thick paper in front of the alarm clock's display at night..

>I wouldn’t say I collect them, but I have accumulated a few over the years that I likeThat's exactly what I'm saying when my wife calls me a hoarder, hah! Guess I loved them since I was a kid too. Though I preferred lava-lamps, unfortunately most of them were lost when we sold our first house. As for now, I'm collecting only the units I really like visually. The most interesting one from my lamplight collection is a Disney nightlight, the similar to one I had as a child. Great nightlight btw, Jordan, looks very stylish!
