Ouch! Poor fan! It has that dent on top of the motor that you said that TMT's don't have. At least the 1980's 140 cm ones don't have that. I wonder what does the top of a mid size 1980's model really looks like but I'm thinking they could have that dent since the motor is not the same size.

48" ones were smaller, but still bigger than this motor.. 56" was the standard size around 20 cm diameter, i think the same diameter as con tech and 70s SMC K56

very interesting indeed! they got multiple TMT fan models! that RAKS at the bottom of the motor is a design killer lol
if RAKS were sold here, it could be interpreted as Ras Al Khaimah, an emirate, which is abbreviated as RAK
