It's very cool to be able to see these classic TAT's. I'm pretty sure the newer ones are new old stock from the early to mid 2000's.
Light blue curved metal blade spinners are very nostalgic to me. I would love to find one. A grocery store I used to go have/had multiples blue 120 cm TMT from the mid to late 1980's and one light blue TAT like these on the ad but in my memory it was 120 cm and not 140 cm. The ones on the ad appear to be from the second half of the 1980's.

first one looks almost identical to Moss WF The housing and the brackets do but the canopy is very different, the switch housing is not chunky and the cane blades are different plus it uses a control at wall.

And it's kinda odd with that bell canopy, with the combination with that switch housing cap.. It's probably not that old.. Maybe 90s..

Nice finds!
That "blue tmt" may be another fan! Tmts dont have a dent between the blade fitting area and the rest of the motor, its more of a flat cone surface
Its also interesting those tats have an open cover from top, never seen that before

Tmts dont have a dent between the blade fitting area and the rest of the motor, its more of a flat cone surface Its also interesting those tats have an open cover from top, never seen that before I know what you mean but I thought they existed both ways and this seems to be a mid size version so the top of the motor could be different on this size. Also it might be a slightly newer version from the early 1990's. The rest of the parts seems to correspond to a TMT down to the shape of the sticker on top of the motor. What do you think it could be? That's the whole idea of these stationary housing top mount ceiling fans. The blades are mounted at the top instead of the bottom because it's only a half housing covering a bare motor. They were a lot more common in the 1980's. I have three ceiling fans of that style. Two 4 Saisons and a Moss. Last year I revisited my Moss WF Series originally acquired in August 2010. I did a new video where I show how it looks like from the top, without the housing and from different angles.

Nice TMT
Thats a 2000s model with steel blades, ive seen new TMTs looking exactly like this being installed in the holy mosque few years ago.. my 30th anniversary 2008 TMT fan has a much smaller motor and a cheap quality build compared to this, and in mine it mentions its made for dubai market.. what really questions me is why the motor is different in both close regions lol
According to the seller, this fan is very new
Also notice the last pic on the box, there is a TMT logo in arabic written as "tee am tee"

Is your 2008 TMT rated at 50/60 Hz or 50 Hz only? Maybe their motors are a little different depending if they are 50 Hz only, 50/60 Hz or 60 Hz only. They also have different models. This one with the circles on the bottom of the motor and no nut appears to be the C-5601. Maybe your 2008 TMT is a C-303 which appears to be cheaply made compared to their other models. If the translation I got for this ad is good, the seller seems to say that it's indeed a recent product, never used and would be a special order which implies the TMT C-5601 can still be made in blue but only as a special order. I believe this style of TMT controller was not made until the mid 2000's? It says it can be shipped anywhere but I guess it's limited to Saudi Arabia. Yes I noticed the arabic TMT logo. I imagine it implies it's made especially for Saudi Arabia. By the way I replied about the possible older midsize blue TMT above and top mount fans.

My 2008 TMT mentions CB-5601 and 50 hz
Despite the serious impact on the motor, the windings survived unharmed and i managed to get the motor to freely spin, but with extreme dents clearly visible
Regarding controllers, i havent seen the big knob tmt controllers here yet, but in one of the earlier posts, there is the big TMT regulator with arabic text under it translating to "guaranteed quality", i got one from scrapyard unused, but its no where as good quality as the old regulators
The website, seems last updated in 2010, doesnt have the cb-5601 listed

All the current ceiling fans TMT show on thier website have a model number that starts with a C and then numbers. The C-5601 is shown with countoured blades but I guess it's still available with curved blades. The description does not mentions if their blades are either curved, contoured or streight.
