not sure if you received any announcements on your emails, but i got in mine:
all free accounts will have 2.5gb space regardless of extra saces acquired by time, if u got 8 gb free from downloading the app at the time the app got the new layout (which killed it instead of improved it), it will be gone for good and any space used if u wish to continue, u should pay otherwise the extra images will be deleted
my account (black father, library can be accessed thru links in signature) is free, originally 2gb with 8gb additional from downloading the app, currently 25% used.. and i'll start using another account (9a3eedi2) which i had it for a very long time back and never used it for further photos.. if i would rely pn photobucket for uploading in the near future

I haven't uploaded anything on Photobucket for a while. Since my phone won't link to my computer after Windows updated, and I can't get the mobile upload to work on my phone.

I'm done with Photobucket.. I have been since they started with their nonsense.. That's truly terrible that they're going to delete people's photos now.. Not hosting them is one thing, deletion is ridiculous..
Of course I'm sure they somehow tricked you into agreeing to it when you accepted the user agreement, but it's still outrageous..

They should have been content with the add revenue they were getting from all the traffic on their site, and those few members that had paid subscriptions.. Now they've upset the users and have nothing..

the update has taken place.. strangely enough i can upload, not sure if its a bug or my 8gb additional storage from android app download is still valid or not

another update:
my 8gb additional space from installing the app is valid and my photobucket account isnt locked out from uploading more photos!, however, i broke down all sub albums to mains to ease access, categorized by dates.. which means any photo i uploaded and shared in the forums are now broken.. ill try to recover that or create new threads for sightings to get all the pics back.. all albums are now accessible through the photobucket link in my signature if anyone wants any fan pics for any future references..
in addition to that, i created another photobucket account (accessible in signature but no photos there yet) in case something happens to the main and i get locked out from uploading more images
edit (26/2):
8gb extra storage is gone now, and will now be as it is with no new photos coming there

Lol photobucket is asking me to delete my account if i dont pay, yet there is still a way to bypass this and access ur albums if u got an account with exceeded photos or storage and not paying.. (go to the url and erase all what comes after .com)  |

I had this happen too, I just abandoned mine unfortunately. Even when they hadn't started all this, their site was jammed up with adware or something because it was insanely slow to load and there were ads all over the place...

Tell them to get f*cked and find another image hosting site, they'll die in the grave they've dug for themselves either way. imgbb all the way i managed to download the whole albuns from photobucket and categorized them all, everything from 2009 up to march 2019.. as im done ill upload batch by batch in imgbb and make sure my gallery is accessible to all |
