Local, but weird and expensive.. Looks old like a American industries, but has blade brackets you see on modern fans.. Gotta love the "Ocean Ship" theme going on.. Super chunky motor housing, but looks like ball/Socket mounting.. Anyone seen something like this before? offerup.com/item/detail/592979565/

That is a weird one! It's hard to say how old it is because like you say, it has a lot of different things going on. I wish someone could get this, it's got to be rare.

It's from the very early 90s, most likely a North Coast Fan Company model, looks to have a K-55 as well. I'd say it's worth grabbing. It's one of North Coast's last models. The more common design of this fan is the "Buffalo" model, which has a different motif on the motor housing.

This thing is a North Coast. 90s, possibly very late 80s.

Hmm...if this is a Northcoast, it might explain the brand of that unknown stack-motor fan I pickup up several years back...
