New guy here . . . just tripped over this forum and so very glad I did!
I have both a K1K-45 and a K1-9 light kit.
Both instructions state use only with fans model numbers ending in D, T, or R.
I have the following fans I'd like to put light kits on:
Delta II fan Model CB-14666 D
Delta fan Model CB-40666
Panama Model 6688 G
Is this correct? I cannot use these kits except on the one Delta II fan?
If so, what kits should I get?
Thanks!

I will say they will work with all of the models that you have mentioned. The Basic rule is, if it has electronics in the switch housing, it is NOT compatible with Light kits that use HALOGEN LAMPS. This will potentially melt any plastics and ruin your fan. Everything incandescent is great and will work out regardless, just make sure the fan doesn't have an integrated light kit already on it or something. Good luck! - Brian

Thanks for the help!
BTW, where can I find down rods for the Panama Model 6688 G fans?
The ones that come with it are 3 inch with tapered (pipe thread?) thread ends. I need at least 6 to 12 inches.
Can you post a link if you have one please?

Can you post a link if you have one please? If the Downrods are threaded, they are permalock, which means any Hunter ceiling fan downrod will work with it, the Home Depot will have them in stock in the fan section. Chances are, they won't be labeled hunter or anything, but will still work. If you are still unsure, measure the width of the downrod and see if it works with the fan. I assume the fan color you have is Matte Black? Your best bet is to spray paint the downrod to the closest finish they have to your fan since Home Depot has basic finishes like White, Nickel, Oil rubbed Bronze, Etc.
