I am now really baffled with what the companies Relite, Crompton Greaves, and O.Erre made.
The usual Relite fans known have this design:
They have a thin motor with a rather wide diameter and a white or blue top. They have straight blades with a slightly pointed tip.
So here is the first identification mystery:
I have heard that there are Crompton Greaves fans made by Airmaster, which is the same as Relite as far as I know.
They are almost like older CG fans but have a cone-shaped lower canopy, and the blade arms are different.
I have also seen Relite fans with almost the exact older CG High Breeze design, like this one:
They have the same canopies, motor, and almost the same blades.
Then comes the mystery between Crompton Greaves and O.Erre. The O.Erre Oasis R and R 140 IPX have a motor, which I think is made by O.Erre itself.
O.Erre R-series:
O.Erre R 140 IPX
The two of these have CG high breeze canopies.
Then there is the final mystery, between Relite and O.Erre.
There is a type of Relite fan, which I have only seen in Malta. It is the Rapide MKII, like these:
The motor is very similar to the O.Erre motor, but has a sticker with Relite Rapide MKII on it. The canopies look a bit like Relite and the blades are similar to both O.Erre and Airmaster Crompton Greaves. What I noticed, however is that the Relite Rapide has some differences to O.Erre. For example the Relite motor is 80W, whereas the O.Erre are 60W (sorry, I made a mistake last time when I said 40-50). However this could be because the Relite Rapide MKII is much older than the O.Erre fans advertised nowadays. Something tells me that just like the usual fans made by Relite have different canopies, and are branded depending on them, like Vent-Axia, the same is with the Rapide MKII. When they are with CG-like canopies they are called O.Erre. Could this be the case?
So the results are:
1. Relite fans looking like Crompton Greaves
2. O.Erre fans with Crompton Greaves canopies
3. Relite fans with canopies similar to Relite and motor like O.Erre but higher power rating
Could someone please tell me what is going on here with Relite, Crompton Greaves, and O.Erre?
