I was searching for images of different Indian ceiling fans, and when I checked for Polar, there was a model called Super Speed. Besides being a beautiful fan, there is a very special feature about it: it spins at 650 rpm! (The fastest I had ever seen before were under 500 rpm which is already very fast for a ceiling fan. Our Relite Rapide MKII is about 300 rpm since it is old) In the hyperlink below, you can see a site that seems to still have the fan in stock, but it is the brown model. www.indiamart.com/proddetail/polar-super-speed-ceiling-fan-13517533755.htmlHere is a picture of the fan:

Do you know what the CFM rating is? 600 RPM sure is fast, but with a 6-degree blade pitch, I can't imagine it moves all that much air..

I am sorry, but I do not know the CFM, and actually, I do not even know what CFM means.

hi guys
well i am from india, and i can throw some light on this matter.
this polar superspeed fan which u have seen, truly does live up to its specifications. it will deliver tons of air, but unfortunately this fan has not been designed for longevity.
the bearings will fail after 2 years of continuous usage
