I have a Hunter fan model #25606 cat. no. 25606-001 amps 1.1 fan that I think is an 1986 model. There is an 86 on the left of a brass tag on the side of the fan. The right side of the same tag has 232240 on it. The reversing switch, capacitor, and the pull switch are both located in the switch housing under the fan.
I removed the switch housing cover to add a light kit to it and while moving wires around to connect the light kit and at least one wire came off of the reversing switch and one wire off of the pull chain.. The reversing switch has 6 holes in it and 4 have wires in them. A red wire from the switch appears to go to one of the 2 empty holes in the reversing switch, not sure which hole. The wire from the pull switch that came off is black and should go into a hole that appears to have a strand of wire in it.
Searching the site came up with a post that showed some wiring diagrams, but they have 6 wires in the reversing switch, not 5, and they have multiple capacitor taps. This fan has a single capacitor.
This post
has a similar fan referenced in reply #7 by vanhalen5150 where he mentions
"There's a couple different possibilities here... Could be an original that's a late 85' model that's got the reverse switch on the switch housing and capacitor in switch housing... (which I have not seen before) or could be one of those flywheel hunters too. I am thinking it's an original, but might be wrong. It will not be a reverse switch on top fan like the August of 84-85 fans.
Either way... in the case of the two above possibilities... the brown and blue will be reversing wires going to the reverse switch, which he has not said anything about. Speaking of the reverse switch... assuming it is how I think it is.. once you pull those wires out of them, they tend to not go back in. I cut the wires and put wire nuts on them for this reason."

I would like to get the fan back in service, any help would be appreciated, a wiring diagram would be fantastic. I saw a diagram in another post, but it showed a multi tap capacitor and 6 wires on the reversing switch, so that was not a match.
