Having a issue with a Hunter remote control

Hello guys,

We have a Hunter ceiling fan with a 86682-02 remote. Have not climbed up to the fan to get the Hunter model number off it yet.

Would like to avoid that if possible. The remote is labeled Model: 86682-02 and FCC ID: IN2TX23.

The operation of the remote is erratic with new batteries in it.

Does anyone know what a more current remote would replace it? Or has anyone every run into this issue before? I called and

spoke to the folks at Hunter and they tried to help but they finally said that the fan model number was needed to make any

progress in finding a replacement.
