What kind of lawn mower do you have? We have a Craftsman rider 4500 with the Briggs and Stratton. We bought it in 2007 but it may be a 2006 because I seem to recall it was a leftover model. Anyhow, it still runs great. Before we had a 1993 Craftsman also Briggs and Stratton and a 1991 Murray both riders.

B&S made great engines, they run forever.. My grandmother has a 2014 Cub Cadet GT2042 with the Kohler Engine. Now that I don’t rent from her don’t havE access to it. I currently have a Walmart push mower with a Briggs and Stratton mower that’s on its last legs that my dad gave me. I purchased in June a Craftsman push mower with the Honda engine from Lowe’s it cuts the grass like butter. Currently shopping for a riding mower debating a Cub Cadet or John Deere.

I'd love to have a riding mower if I ever get a house. I like them. If I had a small yard I'd probably just get an electric push mower though.

I have five acres about one to one and a half of which is grass the rest woods. I thought it’d be easy to keep up the grass with the push mower but I can’t do it before work because the grass is wet still, I don’t get done work till six So sometimes it’s too late if I get stuck late and I have split days off And I like to use them for large projects so I finally decided to just do it cause it would get away from me. I ordered a John Deere E120 hopefully I made a good choice. My grandmother bought a black and decker electric mower around 2004 or 2005 it worked ok for about a season then it went out to the garbage man.. it’s weird I know they’ve improved and become more popular but I’ve never met anyone who bought one since. I’m my area all anyone wants is a zero turn.

If you have an acre to mow, I think you'd have to have a riding mower. Here we have an acre and need the rider. We used to have a push mower for a while but it was just too much to do the whole yard with it. The zero turn mowers are popular here with the lawn companies. One of our neighbors around the corner mows the house next door (same size yard as ours of an acre) and also does across the street which is smaller but on two lots.
I think the rechargeable electric mowers might be getting pretty good these days. If I had a really small yard I'd probably get one to avoid dealing with carburetors and pull start engines. I really dream to have my own rider someday though...
We used to have a Craftsman bed for my dad's rider that a neighbor gave us but we never used it. We're in the process of selling it right now actually because it was just sitting and rusting.

My guest house I previously rented was Just about 2 acres Of grass I wasn’t mowing that with a push mower. They used to be like commercial landscapers only now it’s like a status symbol to have one. My father in law got one I personally didn’t like it when he let me use it I mean I can see the benefits but it’s not for me. Batteries have gotten better that’s for sure I just got a new Craftsman cordless drill to replace my old dewalt one where the battery was going the thing is awesome. It’s a brushless motor very impressed with it. I’d like to get a nice trailer to haul stuff and my dogs with but I can’t seem to find anything big enough

We went over to get my grandma's riding mower checked out, since she's planning to sell it. After my grandfather passed early last year my dad was mowing it for a while and then she got someone that mows yards to do it, so it's just been sitting.
What was odd, was I thought they still had the old Poulan that I used to use when I'd help mow sometimes when I'd visit. But turns out they had gotten a Craftsman in 2014. My grandma said they'd bought it before the Sears Hometown Store closed. So all this time I thought they still had that old Poulan but they actually had a newer Craftsman. It looks a lot different than my dad's though so I'm thinking it might not be Husqvarna made, and it has the Briggs & Stratton.

We've been paying someone to mow the lawn for almost 20 years now, but when we had a tractor, it was a Ford/New Holland. I believe it was a 1995 model, and I don't remember what engine it had. We also had a 2002 model Craftsman push mower with a Briggs and Stratton engine. We sold both about 20 years ago and hired a lawn service. Part of the reason was due to our HOA (Homeowner's Association) voting against sheds (we had to sell ours), and we would have nowhere to store them. The only lawn tools we have now are a gas-powered leaf blower (I forget the brand) and gas-powered chainsaw (again, I forget what brand it is as well).

I don't know why, but I've just always liked the Craftsman push powers and riding mowers... I guess because I kind of grew up around Craftsman hand tools and mowers. Plus I like their garage door openers.
