Since I'm looking to replace the Carousel in my room by mid June, what would some good new ceiling fans if I am unable to find a vintage one I like before then. Here are the fans I've considered so far: Hampton Bay- Landmark Plus, Carriage House 2 Hunter- Beacon Hill (although it's a little over the $100 mark) Westinghouse- Casanova, Contempra Litex- Celeste Design House- Home Depot lists it as the Millbridge while Lowes lists it as the Homestead even though it looks like the same fan in the pictures. This fan is listed both in 4 and 5 blade configurations. The pictures look like it's an older motor design, but I'm not sure if it is a quality fan or not. All of the Harbor Breeze fans looked cheap, but I could be wrong. Are these fans I that I listed good or not? Are there any others I haven't considered?

Out of those, GO with the Beacon Hill. Check Amazon Warehouse deals, they'll probably have one for around $75 if you want Bronze or white.

Have you considered the Hampton Bay Brookhurst?
Where are you going to get the Landmark from? They seem to have discontinued it..
Are you looking at an older Beacon Hill,, or a current one? They're only 42", it probably won't stir up the air as well as what you have now..
You could always look through the HD Supply website.. I can't guarantee they'll actually look like the picture,, but the fans seem to be reasonable quality and there's plenty of ones under 100 dollars..

If you don't mind spending a little extra, one of the best fans for under $150 is the Minka Aire Supra. The 52" variant is priced at $135 at Hansen wholesale right now; the Supra is very well-built for the price and performs quite well, almost as well as a K55-type. The 44" one is under $120 I briefly had one, I'd recommend it!
That thing is SUPER fast and moves some air!

Really, there is one on display at my local Home Depot as well as some in stock, and their website says it's in stock. However it wouldn't surprise me considering that the Carriage House appears to have been discontinued as well.

The 44" one is under $120 I briefly had one, I'd recommend it! That thing is SUPER fast and moves some air! Indeed, their performance is beastly for a fan that size. The 32" one probably has the best performance of any fan that small! Yes indeed, Matt, if you prefer a smaller fan than 52", this is the way to go for bang/buck. Even if you are going to buy another 52" (give or take) fan, the 52" Supra still is a really good deal.

I had acquired a 32" one, I sold it... Probably should have kept it but needed some money for other things. Those things move! I've felt less air from 52" Hunter's then the thing that 32" one moves. Any Supra I've ever encountered was 95% as quiet as a K55, I don't know how they are later on...

Have you considered the Glendale from Hampton Bay? I installed 3 in my grandparents' vacation condo and they're almost silent and pretty good considering they're only $70... sure they're Hampton Bay, but they're still pretty good fans, I installed them 8-10 years and they're still going strong.

Glendales are OK fans for the price, but not the best one can do. Minka Aire's new builder fan ("Contractor Plus") performs much better for the price (also $70-80). Link: www.hansenwholesale.com/minka-aire-contractor-plus-3 Another very good value proposition for a low price is Fanimation's Aire Décor, which also performs very well for the price. Also, from my own experience with the Aire Décor, they are built quite well for the price and better than most stuff you'd call a builderfan. It also has Plywood blades so they won't warp!

Link: www.hansenwholesale.com/minka-aire-supra-52-5I am aware that it is above your price range by about $30, but hey, it's worth it if you want solid performance and high quality of construction for a (still) relatively inexpensive price new.

Although the prices for Canarm CP are right around 100$ or slightly more in home centers, some specific places can have them for a lot less. I bought my Canarm CP48 in 2012 for only 30$. That was a really really good deal and later in 2015 my brown CP56 for 50$. They are very good fans that can be found for around 100$, slightly more or less depending on where it's bought. Note: The prices mentionned are in CAD.
