$75 for a case? That's insane!

Yeah but it's waterproof, drop proof, snow proof, and dust proof. So it's worth it.

Very interesting that it's better quality than the real Landmark! And at least it still has a vintage look to it despite it not being a GE vent fan!
As for the other fans from HD supply, I'm pretty sure the Gazebo I is the real thing. The Grand Floridian hotel at Disney World has a bunch of them outside. I remember the last time I went I was confused by the fact they had only one pull chain and no HB logos.

The Gazeboes have always had one pull chain unless they have the light kit in which case they have two. The Grand Floridian ones have been there for years.
The current Landmark is made by SMC, the HD Supply version is made by Air Cool, who made the 52" Landmarks for a short time in the late 1990s and early 2000s before HB switched back to SMC again.

Yeah but it's waterproof, drop proof, snow proof, and dust proof. So it's worth it. I paid about that much for a cordless phone which carries all those features.. I agree its worth every penny but in that case (there's that wonderful pun again) its a whole phone.. $75 for a little plastic mold? They must be making a killing off those things..

I was very intrigued by the Gazebo fan as well.. I really want one of those and I haven't been able to come across any.. But I'm just not sure I want to spend nearly 100 dollars on something with the risk that it may show up not looking like the image..

I think the Landmark has very recently been discontinued.. Its been out of stock according to the Home Depot's website for a few months now.. It was removed from my local store's display not too long ago.. I knew it wasn't going to be around forever,, but I didn't expect it to go away just yet..
Air Cool seems to make a decent fan.. As much as I like SMC,, they seem to be on the cheaper side sometimes..

I just realized, the motor vents look a lot like my unidentified 42 inch fan.

Yeah they're awesome quality, everyone I know has one... FedEx SmartPost actually lost the replacement in shipping, so now Lifeproof has such awesome American customer service that they're sending out another one. The cases go as high as $99 (my sister wanted the one for her iPhone 6S that "pressure seals" the screen from water and damage (mine has the plastic covering the screen, called the fre, my sister has the one they call the nuud), and we paid $100 for hers, surprising since you'd think they'd charge less for the one without an actual screen cover, though they claim that's the "newer technology"... for Galaxies and other phones (Droid Turbo 2's like my dad has and Pixels), the fre is the only case available.

I got a Landmark Plus 42" (again made by SMC) for my grandparents' vacation condo 10 years ago and the thing hummed like crazy... replaced it the next year with a 52" Glendale but still have the old 42" Landmark Plus... I bought a Lyndhurst and 3 Glendales for their place to replace a 42" Emerson Traditional Snugger and 3 52" Emerson Northwinds from 1990. Glendales and Lyndhursts are dead silent, both are made by Air Cool. My HD hasn't had the Landmark 42" on display since 2013 or very early 2014, and the 52" version since 2014 or very early 2015... both have been replaced with the 42" Glendale and 52" Glendale, respectively. Then again, my HD doesn't tend to keep fans in store that long, maybe a year or two.

The Gazeboes have always had one pull chain unless they have the light kit in which case they have two. The Grand Floridian ones have been there for years. Some Gazebo actually have reverse pull chain, while most have reverse switch. This video shows 5 Gazebo with reverse pull chain, and I should know they're reverse pull chain because I accidentally pulled it while trying to correct the fan chain on one of them to high, plus it says "reverse" next to it if I remember correctly.

HD Supply is now sold out of these fans, is there any other place I can order one? These seemed to be the only polished brass fans without a light kit for under $100.

If you're looking for a PB or AB fan, the Craftmade Ellington Series is selling in those finishes on Build.com for under $60. I saw those, but I didn't post a link to one because Craftmade's newer builderfans are poorly built (moreso than most stuff including the rest of their lineup, which already doesn't have that great of a construction standard) and move little air. Quorum also sells a PB Capri, but the Emerson I posted a link to is cheaper than the Capri, which is selling for $107, which is pushing it for a builderfan with a 153×13mm motor. I also found an ad for a NIB PB Emerson Designer for $69, but the seller wanted around $49 additional for shipping. But, Quorum does have their Estate model (153×15 instead of the 153×13 from the Capri) for $72, shown here: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001QWRWXY/ref=mp_s_a_1_49?ie=UTF8&qid=1508160815&sr=8-49&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=polished+brass+ceiling+fan&dpPl=1&dpID=411dvkHA9%2BL&ref=plSrch

Just buy a Hunter Beacon Hill its a solid performer and comes with an optional switch cap. Although its a 42" instead of a 52" you will feel more air movement for sure.

I was looking to put two 52" ceiling fans in the apartment my parents rent out (the one I put the 42" huggers in). I don't want to spend too much money and risk some tenant damaging them. I was planning on putting HB Landmark above the entryway, and one of these Seasons PB fans in the living room. It is more less one big room with an archway separating them, which is why I would like to have matching fans, one with a light kit and one without.
