Great Finds!! I really like the Sears, I have a soft spot for them especially with the history of Sears and the now demise that could be lethal. That exact one is NIB on Craigslist for $25. I keep kicking the can around of picking it up but then since I got married, between work, church, family, and our puppy I've had no time lol. Thanks! I've always liked Sears products,, they generally seem to be built very well.. I'd buy a NIB one of those for $25..

Then again its been 30 years since the 1980's so I guess thats why we still see the high end stuff cause it held up longer!

I've heard great things about their car batteries,, which unfortunately got bought out apparently.. I don't know if they're still as good or not.. But what I understand,, the majority of Craftsman tools still carry a hefty warranty..

Their fans were decent up until the end, I think around 2001 is when they stopped carrying Kenmore branded fans... I know their site still has run of the mill Hunters like everybody else but it was awesome that they had their own lineup.
My Dad got one of their batteries about four years ago (Diehard) and it was quite good.
Craftsman defintiely makes a good tool! The warranty I heard was "modified" in that they now give you a refurbished replacement instead of a brand new one. I don't know how true this is. Craftsman just got bought out by Black & Decker for almost $1 billion. Apparently they will continue to honor the warranty and Craftsman will be sold anywhere now besides Sears/Kmart and Ace sells them for reason I never figured out why.

Yup, went there only just a couple weeks ago, looks like they've already got new stuff too. We aught to meet up there sometime!
Did you get the NIB hugger? I didn't see that there.. They must get more stuff than I thought,, they got 3 or 4 more fans in over a period of a week..Definitely over summer, let me know! Didn't get the hugger, but this is definitely one of the better Habitats for fans in CT.

Interesting,, I wonder if there's another collector around here.. I can't imagine many non-collectors that would want something like that..

The Encon ventless hugger:
The fan is from 1989,, reversible blades are rosewood? / black with 2 stripes,, 4 or 5 blade..
Unfortunately the PhotoBuckets is being outrageous right now,, and this was all I was able to grab from it before it decided to stop loading.. And its not even a full size imagine! This is getting ridiculous..

Unfortunately this week's trip to the Habitat was cancelled due to snow.. Hopefully there will be some good stuff next week..

As much as I despise newer SMCs, I do enjoy the 4/5-blade models.
