Tonight at Goodwill, there was a Lakewood banana blade type fan. It was either a 200i or 223, not sure. But it was light beige with white blade and grilles. Very, very nice condition, even had the feet! But I already have a 223, so I didn't get it. It was $8.99 I think. Last week there was a newer Holmes with the brace blade and I think a newer Galaxy.

Today I went to an estate sale. I saw a gray 9" Galaxy oscillator, but it had push buttons, which I had never seen on a gray blade Lasko/Galaxy 9". It was not for sale though. There was also a Honeywell pedestal fan with electronic controls, and a brown Emerson Casablanca Classic ceiling fan installed.
Also at the flea market, I saw an older looking 16" oscillator with clear blue plastic blades, and instead of 3 it had 4 blades. The grille spacing was also pretty far apart. I did not see a brand on it, but I may go back and get it next weekend. It was $10.

I will have a look next weekend and at least get a pic. It would be a cool fan to have, but it's big and I'm trying to limit my intake of stuff right now. LOL The rear guard was spiral-like, and the front guard was radial wire style and had a big ring in the middle that was open, with a chrome center cap on the blade.

That sounds a lot like the early 1970's Toshiba Crystal Zephyr I got last summer. I post about it but no one reacted. ada19851985.proboards.com/thread/11900/early-1970s-toshiba-crystal-zephyr

I don't remember there being that timer knob on the base, but maybe it is a Toshiba but different model. The motor housing looks somewhat similar as well. Neat fan though!

Today I went to a garage sale and there was a Windmere 12" oscillator with mesh grille, and an antique 10" or so Emerson. I was kind of interested in the Emerson, they wanted $20 but it was in rough shape. Guard bent, rust, no cord, missing oscillator parts. So I passed.
I did find a Marvin box/window fan at Goodwill, I ended up getting it. It's similar to the twin version that I got a few years ago, also at Goodwill.

Today, I went to the Habitat and Goodwill, no fans at either.
I also went to estate sale and found white 12" Duracraft Oscillator from 1997. It was $4 but I got it for $2 since it was half off. It needs cleanup since it was in the garage, but it runs great. This is kind of a childhood fan for me and I've never been able to get one until now. I remember Scotty's sold them back in the 90s. In the pictures of the estate sale, there was a 6" Lasko in white from the 90s and a newer Lasko pedestal fan with the 5 flower blade. They had apparently already sold, but I didn't really want them, and I already have a 6" Lasko.

Today I went to estate sale, and house was filled with Fascos. The kitchen had a Charleston 42" in polished brass and creme, with light kit. The living room had a Fasco Great Room in AB, and the sunroom had one as well, with a light kit. I went into one bedroom which had some kind of import GE vent in AB with four blades, maybe a rebrand Fasco. The master bathroom had a chrome Fasco exhaust fan.

A couple weeks ago I saw a white Hampton Bay Landmark III at a curb. I also saw a generic white outdoor fan with light kit down the street on the curb. And then a few days ago on the way home from work at a nearby house there were 3 Hampton Bay Huntington II's in white/PB with light kits on the curb.
I didn't get any of it.

I went to flea market this weekend. There was a person selling two fans, one was a Kenmore stand fan in black with the clear blades, the other a Kmart K-223 in blue with the wide plastic blades. I bought the Kmart for $10. I think it has the McMillan motor but I just took a quick glance, it's still in the trunk.
