Howdy Folks,
Glad to finally find a place to be able to ask a question for help. Lowes and HomeDepot folks didn't know and didn't have any way to support me.
I have an older ceiling fan. Brand unknown. The pull chain switch went bad. I pulled it out, took it down to the shops to get a replacement. The replacement they gave me doesn't do what the old one did. So....
The old one is a JIN YOU, part number E70469. I can't seem to find this part anywhere on the google world. Not even sure what it would be called: 8 wire 2 capacitor, etc.
It has two black round pieces connected to a white piece that houses the chain pull. On the white, it is marked L, 1, 2, 3(strip). Each of the black pieces have a hole for wires. Gives me the feeling it is a 8 wire. That's as far as I can go without buying a switch at a time and trying them, which I assume could be dangerous.
Anyone have a suggestion on replacing this JIN YOU E70469?
