It seems like it's the first time we see one with variable speed control with this canopy at the same time and also the first time with a painted version of this switch housing on a Laguna motor. It does not have a date?
I don't see a date on it anywhere unless it's in the switch housing.. I didn't want to go into the switch seeing how everything is sandwiched in there.. And the Variable speed control pot can not be adjusted through that hole.. I'm thinking early-mid 1980s seeing how it has the mounting bracket, and they wanted to make a more simple, less expensive fan without the bells and whistles, like reverse and three speeds, and it being more of a utility fan.. Mounting bracket is the older one too.. So I'm thinking 1983-84..
