That one came from my local flea market. Paid $4 for it. There was one on ebay that looked just like it though. But. it was priced way to high for me.

Holmes made pretty cool box fans in the 90's and early 2000's. they basically bought out Robeson and used the banana blades from the Robesons on the 90's models til they came out with that one with the Rotator grill. i think the older ones had knobs. and the later ones had that touch control thing. they stopped making box fans for along time. until 2010. when they came out with the current models. (extremely cheap). the older 90's and early 2000's models used a Raider motor. the real early ones though (after the buyout of Robeson) had Mc Millins they were basically the 3rd gen Robeson boxers (looked just like a Lakewood 223 almost) until the Slimline ones came out that design was all Holmes except the blade was still the Robeson blade design. Holmes designed the one with the One Touch one Cole has here. the current ones are made by Jarden.

That terra-cotta Lakewood is dope! That Wexford does look a fair bit like the Lakewood 10/PBX.. Wonder if that blade is original to there,, it looks a little small.. Neat color of the breeze machine too.. The terracotta S223 was by far my favorite find from there. the Wexford had a clear blade. but it was all busted up. the blade thats on it now came off a Holmes twin window fan i parted out.

Dead Mouse in a cheap Galaxy boxer i got out of the trash. at first i thought it was a wad of hair.. The mouse nest in a 1993 Galaxy 3723.
And god knows what i pulled out of this..2007 Galaxy. And yes. i cleaned out everyone of these fans. gotta get dirty for the sake of your hobby..LOL

Dont think it was Samsung. they looked very simular to what the current line of Lasko box fans used. all Samsung motors iv seen in box fans had a screw that held the blade on. the Toastmasters did not have that.

Iv had my fair share of run ins with bugs in fans. one of the first times i had that happen was when i got this 2nd gen Kmart K-223 2nd gen. it had sat out at my friends area where he keeps scrap metal for awhile. (got rained on and stuff) and i got it home and the motor was FILLED with water bugs. they were crawling everywhere. and a few other fans iv got have had spiders and spider nests in the motors and stuff like that. but my worst was a fan that had a mouse nest inside the cabinet.
