Hard to say. Is there a sticker on it anywhere? What does the socket and cord look like if they're original? That might give an idea. I would assume the cord is original I dont see any rewiring the only sticker says 8.86 socket says 02/98 E126855

Interesting, that is one weird house. That kitchen is so weird and what are those things on the ceiling? The bathrooms have vintage blue fixtures and I'm not sure why the second one has all those dials on the wall over the toilet... I wonder what that silver vent is for at the back gable of the house? Looks like it could be for a fan... I think someone that liked to tinker lived in that house, it's been worked on a lot I can tell. Oh and what is this supposed to be?? those things on the kitchen ceiling appear to be fly traps

My Home Depot doesn't have a walk under display, it has the fan displays between two aisles, but they do have some fans on display at the endcaps in lighting too. Lowes has a walk under display though. My Walmart still sells ceiling fans but not on display. I'm sure I've said this lots of times, but originally my Walmart had beige Lasko 42" close mounts in the snack bar area. The garden center had two white HRS 36" industrials on short downrods in the garden center indoors with a variable speed control next to the door. I don't know how they did anything being high up with no ceiling in the garden center. Later they added another industrial on a long downrod over the 2nd register in the garden center and moved the front existing one to a longer downrod, the one to the rear on a short downrod remained as it was. Then those were all removed and replaced with some kind of industrials with switch housings that are grayish color. Still there, and I keep hoping to sneak a photo. There also were two of these at each entry area in the main store but they got removed. At one time there was a Hampton Bay industrial over the fabric counter run from a 5 speed slider on a column, but it got removed when the fabric counter was done away with. The electronics dept also had two white industrials of some kind over the photo counter but they got removed. The original Walmart in my hometown had 52" industrials over the registers, I seem to remember them being black. At the entrance it had two brown 36" Lagunas someone mentioned. I remember going in another Walmart that got converted to a Bealls Outlet and those Lagunas had been replaced with some kind of small antique brass fans, I want to say SMC. My Kmart did have a fan display at one time but was long removed. It also had the white Hunter Original 42" in the snack bar/Little Caesars. They were removed when the snack bar closed several years before the store closed. I was hoping the snack bar fixtures and fans had been stored away and would show up during the store closing sale, but no such luck. ya cole that was me i said that the orginal walmart here had the two brown lagunas in the entrance and inside moss wfs all over the register area i loved those lagunas

Is this meant to move the air to the sides so papers won't scatter, like a bank teller fan? it blows in a a full circle so it cools a room at all angles like a 360 air so ya like a bank teller fan
