How did you manage to play music throughout the entire Nutone video and not get a copyright?
The Delta looks like it runs really nice.. As much as a love gloss blades, I think I would have chosen matt finish in this instance..
Glad to see you're posting video again.. now you just need to post some more skate videos and you'll be good lol

I didn't know that playing music on my laptop for a video required me to go through the government lmao The Delta runs perfectly. I have a matte rosewood blade color on my classic white Panama

Copyright? Well crap. I didn't know that playing music on my laptop for a video required me to go through the government lmao Usually upon upload YouTube runs the video through a number of algorithms which will capture music and other copyrighted material.. It probably didn't record at a good enough quality for it to pick up on it.. I get claims on videos I record at church all the time,, depending on the owner of the music label they'll either monetize the video (for their benefit), or, they could edit or take down the video completely,, if that happens a number of times they'll start giving restrictions on your account and/or just close it.. Adam had some issues with copyright from videos of television sets.. YouTube has gotten quite ridiculous with their copyright stuff.. If you want to have music, YouTube has a segment where you can download open source(? I don't know what its called..) music and use in the videos without issues, which is what I use when I post slideshows..
As far as the stupid government goes,, I'll refrain from posting my opinion on the Internet since they're probably reading this forum too lol

My suggestion if you want to have a copyrighted song in a video is to post the video without the song and post a "link to audio" in the description with a link to a video of the song.

So yeah, I can understand them removing a video for using a copyrighted song as the audio, but having it as noise in the background can get it removed? That's ridiculous!
So Jordan, do you, like, have to pay the bands that record those songs money because of your videos?

The majority of the time, YouTube will notify me that the music is either found in other videos and/or is copyrighted material.. From there usually nothing happens.. Once or twice I've had the record company that owns the copyright monetize the videos, which means they play an ad before the video and get ad revenue off of that.. Works the same way as if the YouTube account holder was to use the monetization process by Google,, it appears no different to the viewer..
Granted I'm working with relatively small Christian based bands, using the content in a non-profit organization for the same purpose they intended it,, they're not going to see any reason to come after me.. If you're using mainstream content from popular bands making millions+ off a single song,, it will be a different story..

Okay. But do you end up having to pay anything?

Okay. But do you end up having to pay anything? No, the only money they get is what they make from putting the ads on (which I imagine is next to nothing)..

Anyway, there is no reason to put background music in a fan video because it will ruin a part of the point of the video, we will not be able to hear the sounds of the fan.

I agree. Some people (including me) want to hear what SelecTouch's beeps sound like because there are no other videos of SelecTouch fans in action. I think fan videos are better without music TBH... (Not to mention I think I hear a few explicit words in this song, which ruins it even more.)

My preference would go to not having music,, but its his videos.. if that's how he likes it, then that's how it should be..
