Yes I agree with you about the Landmark. Older Hunter and Hampton Bay ceiling fans appeal to me the most. Modern ceiling fans just don't do much for me. I love the Hampton Bay Landmark (all versions), Grayton, Florentine I, Chatham, Redington, Windward, and probably a ton more I can't think off at the moment. I like a lot of older Hampton Bays also.. The Chatham has always been one of my favorites.. Have they discontinued that one yet? I know they still sold it as of a few years ago but I really don't keep up with what's currently on the market..Yes that fan was discontinued. The Landmark and the Littleton are pretty much the last ceiling fans they still sell from the good old days. Even their industrial has been discontinued.

To be honest I'm not exactly sure. All I know is as of right now they no longer sell it. The only newer fan that isn't too modernized and looks like an older model is the Hampton Bay Brookhurst.

The brass finish itself seems to be fading away. That's with many fan companies now. I might go buy a brass Landmark instead, we'll see. I have the older 4 blade version of the Landmark already.

Wow it doesn't even come in brass? That sucks. Agreed.. It would be so much better if it was offered in PB.. It does come in brushed nickel and some sort of black finish, I think copper-stone or something obscure like that..

Unfortunately it is.. Brass is fading away from everything, not just ceiling fans.. It will be interesting to see how much longer the Landmark in brass holds up on the market.. Hope it lasts a while..
I wouldn't bother to buy either the Landmark or the Brookhurst unless you have a place to install them,, they're not really worth anything to collect,, and they're in plenty abundance if you wanted to get one in the future..

Who knows maybe it can bring brass finishes back. Yeah I get what you're saying, I still might get one from eBay, I remember seeing a few cheap ones on there. What I'm really looking for is a Hampton Bay Carousel II. The one I currently seems like it wants to quit. Have you seen the Landmark fans SMC has been selling? They look even more traditional with the wicker / cane blades. Check it out. While it's not as traditional looking they have a white one as well with wicker / cane. Again it's not as traditional looking but it still looks pretty cool to me.

I highly doubt we'll be seeing brass coming back any time soon unfortunately.. I've heard of those Carousel 2 fans failing before, I don't think they're the best quality fans out there.. You may be better off replacing the motor than getting a new one..
Wow those SMCs look really nice (who knows how good the quality is).. Can't believe they still have something like that on the market.. Where can you get those? What do you find so non-traditional about the white one?

What do you find so non-traditional about the white one? I know it's sad. But you never know. Yes I have too, I don't think they're exactly top of the line but they're neat fans and kind of childhood fans of mine so I really like them. I was hoping I could find one for sale somewhere. I'd love to get another one in the event mine fails. Can't seem to find one though, would you happen to know anyone who has one? They do look quite awesome. I'd love to buy one. Yeah that's the part I'm not sure about. Would you like to have the link I got the pictures from? It's on the SMC website. Only thing is I haven't seen anywhere on the site to buy them. Well it's not that the white one isn't traditional, like I said it's not as traditional mostly because I'd say a brass finish or a white and brass finish would be more traditional than an all white fan. But regardless, I love the look of both of them.

I suppose it would but I've had mine for many years and although it is very tired, it's still going. Yes that is certainly a good looking fan. Those Zephyr's go down as classics in my book. You going to buy it?

I would have to concur that this is a absolutely beautiful Zephyr! Even the price is beautiful! Too bad it has to go through shipping.. That is very concerning..

I am familiar with the website the fans are sold on, I was able to find it through the picture, but it appears to be that the fans are only sold through a distributor, which isn't much help considering none of them seem to be situated in America..
The Glendale and Sinclair don't particularly appeal to me.. The Carriage House is decent, but I like the Landmark much better..
As far as those other fans that are on the Home Depot website as online only, those can me found other places, I hardly consider those Home Depot fans..
Yes that is certainly a good looking fan. Those Zephyr's go down as classics in my book. You going to buy it? I think they're classic in everyone's book!
