I do not know what the GEV is. The spinner is a Supreme? Nice fans!

Someone sent me a message from the website.. They are giving them to me just for shipping.. They are in Waco Texas.. I've Never seen a GE Vent like this with that odd switch housing.. Those are weird. Wonder how they heard about the site being that I live here. I have no use for them, but perhaps they have leads on other fans. Shame these got set on their blades. Not sure about the spinner being a Supreme. Blades are wrong and it would have a silver tag clearly labeled SUPREME. It looks sort of Carroway-ish to me.

They probably did a search on Google for "Vintage" or "Old" ceiling fans, or they put in a model number that is listed on the website somewhere, but I doubt that.. The one is a TAT.. Or at least made by TAT.. Far from a supreme or else it would have a Supreme label on it as JW said...
I like the fact the TAT has a brass switch housing and the brass blade irons.. There is another collector that has an all white one with the switch housing being white also.. I bet the variable speed GE vent is made in Hong Kong.. It looks like it's almost a copper color..

That's a very cool switch cap on the GE vent. It does look copper.
Yes, that is what I was about to write for the spinner, a TAT. I think you already have two like these in different finishes.

Ya, I've got two, the other being dark brown and brass...

Both are pretty neat.. Hope the blades can be recovered on the GE vent

That label above the pull chain says light! Very strange. That's the first time I've seen the light chain separate old from any lights on the fan on something vintage.

That Kando I had at one point had a separate pull chain for the light kit. I've seen it one or two other times.

Thanks for the comments... I ended up using Simple Green on the TAT, and the thing cleaned up almost like new.. The blades are still slightly yellow, but a hell of alot better than it was. Some of the layers of veneer were starting to also peal from the blades, and I also fixed that with wood glue and cinder blocks over night.. Still debating if I should take the switch housing off, and the blade irons down to get replated..

Still debating if I should take the switch housing off, and the blade irons down to get replated.. I've never understood the logic of possibly paying hundreds of dollars to replate parts of a fan that probably cost $30-40 new and has no notable increase in value, but to each his own...

The switch housing cap is pretty cool on the GE vent fan.
The chunky GE vent fan Nadair had in the 1980's came with a separate light pull chain.
