Hello everyone! This is my light kit for my 1985 Casablanca Delta II. When I got it, one of the light sockets was broken, like this. I put some JB Weld Epoxy on it, and it worked for about two weeks, however, it broke again. What else could I use to fix it? Could I use a different light kit overall? Someone told me this was a "gallery" edition. Does that mean I must use this light only? It has a little dimmer knob on it, and the Delta II utilizes Slumber-Three. Is it required that I must use this light, or could I add my own simple light kit? Thanks for the help! Attachment Deleted

You can add any light kit! I'm pretty sure Home Depot sells Westinghouse brass 3 light kits that use traditional sockets. Lowes sells a brass 4 light kit (which is odd considering they have no brass fans), but I wouldn't trust it because it's made by Harbor Breeze and those use candelabra sockets…
However, to use one of these light kits you'd need a switch cap first. Or you could just remove all 4 sockets from this one to attach the light kit but then you'd have 4 holes in the switch cap…

I don't have a problem with ripping out the sockets, but where could I find a switch cap for this fan? I know they are different than most, should I just buy one off of eBay, or casablanca.com?
