At the beginning of the week I picked up an antique white/bright brass Victorian. As I haven't dealt with many Casablancas, I have no idea how to read the date code. It has two numbers, BW22438 and CB-22520. According to the recall, it is included because it is Hang-Tru and the second letter in the code is W. Anyone have any idea of the date (the fan has 4 pointed tip blades and a 4/5 flywheel) and does anyone have an extra canopy clip to fix the recall?

Any Casablanca fans using the HangTru mounting system made prior to 1994 would be subject to the recall.

As always, I sell repro canopy clips.
