Is it the one that Adam wanted to get rid of?
This same style of Evergo in the same blade and finish combination is pretty common in Québec as a Banvil fan.

Yes.. It was mine.. Wow, might as well have it replated seeing how you have it all apart.. The bearings were great, but probably will need replaced seeing how you got them off, and most likely alot of crud and dirt is in them now..
If you have it replated, Id leave the top part of motor as is and just have them do the side of the upper part and rest of the fan.. And if it matches Id also leave the downrod and upper canopy and blade brackets alone too..

Not black and chrome again!! If you were to plate this in PB and refinish the blades in a nice oak color, this would be a stunning unit. Is that actually real cane in those blades?

Not sure about the cane being real or not.

Getting it replated in PB would look great though it would be expensive. I'd guesstimate around $200 but you could send the pictures and some measurements of the parts to a place to get a quote. Just an idea but an expensive idea at that!

I will admit that in the right place on the right fan, black and chrome can look sick, but when it comes to something like this I just don't see it fitting. This is too traditional. But, I'd rather see this thing in a finish that's not my first choice than be in the trash! Getting it replated in PB would look great though it would be expensive. Do you think there would be much of a cost difference in terms of plating it in brass vs chrome?

It might be easier to find a place that can do chrome than brass though. Here in the Hampton Roads area of VA for example I found a couple places that could do chrome plating but none of them would do polished brass, hence why I had to use the place in Maryland since they seemed to be the closest who would do it.

I didn't think of that, but that's a good point. I'm sure there's not that many people out there that want anything in PB anymore.
