It's a future install, and I will make a thread about it.

I suppose if you have a more modern style preference, they wouldn't appeal. I'm generally into more 90's contemporary décor, so this definitely wouldn't fit.

Sorry for reviving such an old topic, but I just had to comment. I just bought a home that has a unique one of these lumadome ceilings. In the center is a tall alcove with two skylights set in the slanted ceiling and the fan mounted in the space between them. It's very nice but I will have to do some work as a previous owner removed the dividers between the plexiglass panels and this gives it an unfinished look. I have no idea where I'm going to find them. I have someone who is going to replace the fluorescents with LED fixtures for me since right now it looks kind of unevenly lit. I think it is a great vintage look so I have no intention of removing the lumadome, so this is one that will be saved!
Sorry for not having pictures. I tried but the glare from the skylights made the pictures useless

I remember one of my friends used to have one of those in her kitchen, and she had a white View Fan 36" spinner with 3 metal blades and switch housing in it.
Also, does anyone remember those weird pivoting fans that were sometimes installed in these things? I think they had a rotating grille. The brand was API or something like that.
