Now, that seller IS a scammer. You may or may not get the fan, and it may or may not be as described.

looks a little to good to be true....be careful I initially thought that as well, but the price sure doesn't. He has very good feedback, so we'll see what happens. If this turns into a disaster, I'm going to be LIVID!. After all, I said I wasn't going to buy any more fans on eBay...

It must be Adrian P, and the drama he created on the forum when he sold that Homestead to Alex.. It was suppose to be in mint condition, but when he received it, it had bearing problems if memory serves me correctly..

It was suppose to be in mint condition, but when he received it, it had bearing problems if memory serves me correctly.. I'm familiar with Adrian P, I've heard a lot of sketchy things about him. As far as Alex G goes, I thought the problem was with Alex G taking the fans apart or something... This seller is supposedly named Jim, so I don't think its Adrian. I've seen Adrian's listings before and when I checked out his other items, there were only a few and they were all fans. This person has quite a few other items going, and none of them are fans. I don't really know who it is, could be a scam, feedback would say otherwise and I sure hope its accurate. The last thing I want to deal with right now is another scam headache...

I may be getting the names mixed up, but it's sure the same seller that sold the Homestead to Alex.. I remember that eBay screen name... The problem was on both sides, Seller for Alex receiving the fan with bearing problems and Alex for trying to fix it.. I'm sure it was more dramatized by the seller..

Oh dear, you're right...he is Adrian P... I just looked up some of the previous things he listed on eBay on the DT forums and the user name matches. Since his eBay feedback is serving him well and I've never had any personal issues with him (I almost bought one of these Originals from him in the past, I don't know where he keeps getting these things from) I'm going to just keep hoping everything will go through okay. But, I will be keeping a cautious eye over the whole thing and will be sure to test and inspect the living daylights out of that fan once it arrives to make sure everything is alright with it. I'll let it run for a few days before I leave feedback, just in case anything goes wrong. I'm also going to hold off on posting that I got this on any of the other forums or YouTube, I don't want Adrian to find out that its going to another collector. I'm hoping that maybe if he thinks its going to a random person (I didn't buy it with my eBay account so it doesn't have my name on it) he won't try to pull any nonsense. We'll see...but if anything goes wrong you'll be the first to know.

I don't know where he keeps getting these things from It's Florida, they basically grow on trees here... I usually pass them up, especially now that I'm trying to save room for more of the rarer stuff.. The most I ever spent on an Original was $25..
