I was at my relative's house earlier this week. It was built in the late 80's and they have a couple of awesome NuTones that have been there from the beginning. I'm pretty sure that the light kits are from the NuTone catalog as well. They used to have one of those cool NuTone catalogs with markings on the fans and lights they selected. Both of these fans are basically in mint condition. The first is (I think) a NuTone Decorator: Attachment DeletedThe second (and my favorite) is the NuTone Hacienda. This is a beautiful fan: Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

The first indeed is a Decorator, one of the Fanthing ones that look so much like Craftmade. Love the Hacienda, gorgeous fan overall and with a genuine NuTone light kit too. Not my favorite glass, but I can deal.

Not my favorite glass, but I can deal. Was this version of the Decorator rare? I've looked at a lot of pics of Decorators online, but I've never found one that looked completely identical to this one. Haciendas are indeed gorgeous. You see a lot of fans that look similar to each other, but there's nothing that looks quite like a Hacienda. Very unique design. What really makes these fans cool is that they have the classic NuTone wall switches to control the speeds. They got these NuTones around 1988 when NuTone was at its peak. Here is the Decorator switch. This fan actually has four speeds. You can see the two medium notches in between Lo and Hi: Attachment DeletedHere is the Hacienda switch. This is a standard three speed: Attachment DeletedAnother pic of the Hacienda: Attachment Deleted

Very nice! They're in exceptional condition for being in use for the past 30 years.

I wouldn't call those Decorators extremely rare, maybe uncommon. There's been a few that have turned up, I don't know of anybody really interested in that specific version so they haven't been very present in the collector circles.
