I can fix it, but not right now.. Don't have the time even though I do have a spare on hand to drill holes to fit.. Not going do another video, it would be too much time in all, for something I already have a video of.. Well, maybe you should send it to one of the other members to fix it. Or, if there's a repair store in your vicinity, take it there. This is too good of a fan to give up just yet... I think I said I can fix it..

Adam, you should definitely get a little more creative with this one. Take what remains of the flywheel to a machinist and get a replacement fabricated out of metal.

I'll have to look into that.. I have a feeling it would be hundreds of dollars at least for someone to fabricate something like that..

Hundreds of dollars for the first one, less for subsequent ones.
I was going to make something out of wood, but so far I've been able to use the broken flywheels and the flywheel cover and still get a 38" fan to operate perfectly. Havent tried it with a 52" as I dont have a 52" with a broken flywheel.

They no longer make the P-12.. They only make the P-13 which has to be converted.. I ordered from them over a year ago.. I don't understand why they just don't make the flywheel for six blades anymore, it's the same flywheel other than it being drilled for five or six blades blades..

Are you sure they still make the 5 blade version? I just assumed they stopped making both of them, but there is stock remaining of the 5.

I specifically asked if they make them.. Then I asked why don't you just make a six blade flywheel seeing how it's the same as there five blade flywheel other than the holes, then I mentioned about making blank ones, and he didn't say anything.. He could be lying about them making the flywheels also..

Or the factory still has stock, and so the parts supplier can still get them, but the factory isnt making any more. I doubt they stopped one and not the other. More than likely they stopped both and one ran out of stock sooner somewhere along the chain.

I was thinking something like that..
Seeing how I have a flywheel that is for five blades lying around, I could probably take that to a machinist along with the six blade metal ring and bottom plate, and see what they can do to fabricate a flywheel, but then again it may be easier to use the broken flywheel depending on how bad it is..

Those theories could very well be also.
It may be worth getting some fabricated from metal and selling them, while it may take a little while to return a profit or at least break even, it may eventually be worth while.

If it's alot of money, no one would buy them.. $100 is usually the cut off line that any collector is willing to pay for any ceiling fan, tho there are a few exceptions depending on how bad someone wants something, and parts no one is going to pay no more than $50-$100

I don't know too much about metal fabrication...
