UPDATE! We fixed the reverse switch, but now it goes HIGH-HIGH-OFF-OFF, and the light still doesn't work

UPDATE!- We got the light to work, now we just need help with the speeds.

Either you have the wrong pullchain or it's wired wrong. What pullchain did you use?

I would reverse the speed order to low-medium-high because switching the fan from off to high speed causes stress on the flywheel.

Yeah, I've heard that, but I tried that, and high and medium speeds don't work. it goes low-low-off-off. I might try getting a new pull chain. The fan was pretty messed up when I got it.

You may not have the correct pullchain, where did you get the replacement pullchain?

It is just a generic pullchain. I got it off of a GulF Coast Classic ceiling fan. Do I need a casablanca pull chain?
