So yesterday, Saturday, September 20th, was my 19th birthday. When my parents asked me what I wanted, I told them to take me to Lowe's and let me pick out a ceiling fan for my collection. I saw that the Harbor Breeze Wolcott (renamed from Moonglow) was on clearance for $44.99 (regular price was $99.99), so my parents got it for me. I got it because it's the last of its kind of lighted housing fans... once it's gone, you won't see another one, and also I didn't have any lighted housing fans in my collection. Surprisingly, it has high-gloss blades and a plastic housing. It will be installed in my future house someday. It's quite a nice fan!
On another note, I went to my local Goodwill on Friday and got a Room Essentials 6" clip fan just because I could... it was only $4.99 and was returned because it only works on low and the switch won't move to high... a repair for me to complete.
Pics of the Wolcott to come!

I have to say, as much as I generally don't condone buying modern fans, the Moonglow is probably one of the few models I would actually buy. It's a really nice looking fan, of course only time will tell how good it performs/how long it lasts.

Fair point There should be at least one or two valid links in the most recent post though. Just typed in Moonglow on YouTube, and look what comes up! Here all this time I'm thinking you don't like the Moonglow for some strange reason, then it turns out that you in fact do like it, enough to even make a video on it! It really is a pretty nice looking fan, even if the quality is sub-par.

It really is a pretty nice looking fan, even if the quality is sub-par. Firstly, I dislike the current Moonglow/Wollcott because of the plastic motor housing and the price. Secondly, the fan in the video is a Hampton Bay Jericho. Thirdly, yes I admit the fan looks okay, but does it really matter? It's not like there aren't far better lit-housing fans out there.

Quorum made one called the Crystal... the Mooncott (as I like to call it) was made to compete with the Jericho.
Max, are the Jerichos 4/5 blade?

Oops, I must have overlooked the title of the video. I thought it was odd that it had four blades! Either way, I like the Jericho as well, plus I think Hampton Bay is a little better.

I would definitely say so. The Hampton Bay Jericho uses an SMC motor while Harbor Breeze Moonglow/Wollcott uses a Litex motor.

The motor on the Moonglow/Wolcott is actually made by another company, of which I cannot seem to find a website for... the file number on the motor, which I have written down on the back of the manual, indicates that.
