I have five Homestead Homestar HS6000 fans. The wall switches are all dead or dying. No one seems to have any of the switches anywhere. Does anyone have:
1. The control protocol used between the switch (3 rocker switch) and the fan?
2. A handful of these switches they want to get rid of or a line on where to get them?
3. The wiring diagram and explanation for the motor? Lutron makes a single wire fan/light control switch that expects the fan to be much simpler than the Homestar.
Any leads would be great.

Unfortunately there is no easy way to do what you're asking. The control and motor are proprietary. www.casablancafanrepair.com used to offer conversion kits I am not sure if they still do. The motor can be converted but it's not for someone without more than basic electrical knowledge. If you dont own an ohm meter or multimeter it's not for you.

Did you find any of these controls. The protocol is actually very simple. Would you want to sell any of your dead ones?
