RE: HUNTER 'Original' 52" fan, circa 1980's. Model number is 22304-503. Four Blades - 2 Speed - No 'reverse' switch. Purchased new retail in the 1980's.
NEEDED: 4-Blade Irons (not reversible)- Matched set - 52" Hunter fan - 1980's
My fan currently uses (4) Hunter "reversible" blade irons.
To clarify what I am looking for, I posted two photos below.
Photo #1 is a current style Hunter "classic original"; Photo #2 is of the *reversible blade arm on my 1980's fan.
Note the 1980's reversible blade iron *style looks similar to the blade iron *style used by Hunter today in its reproduction 'classic original' fan.
The 1980's reversible bracket/iron is a straight, almost 90' elbow; the current Hunter iron/bracket uses a curved 'elbow' on the blade arm iron.
I need to buy a *matched set of (4) *standard, *fixed (non-reversible) blade irons for the 1980's fan; preferably balanced, and made by Hunter Fan Co. The fan blade irons I want would *look like the irons in photo #1. The blade irons I have on my 1980's Hunter 52" fan are pictured in photo #2.
PS. I am interested in *any Color of blade arm as they can be painted.

I am the guy you were messaging, but I thought I'd go ahead and post here for everyone's benefit. Your brackets are Reversaire. If you want standard brackets you have two options: The first fan you posted is 42". Those brackets will not fit on your fan. If you want blade brackets that are are "period accurate" to you fan, you want these:  The current "generation" of brackets looks like this. These started as 4-blade sets and evolved to 5 when Hunter updated the Original:  Ideally, you want a set of black brackets in the first style. I have a set of brown brackets in the current style (but 4-blade, so they will fit). If you're interested in them, message me. Maybe someone else will have the correct bracket so you don't have to do a lot of painting, etc. |
