Hello. I'm trying to find a replacement capacitor for my Hunter/Casablanca type G, 1/95 ceiling fan. The numbers on the old (burnt) capacitor are YCE 10mfd/5mfd/250VAC GY/5R/5BR/5GR , its 5 wire. The 'YCE' lettering is a bit distorted but that is what it appears to read. I've searched Goggle but no luck. I was hoping someone here knew where I mite find one or the replacement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Gary

I should've mention I already tried Hunter. They were no help what's so ever, other than other than tring to sell me a new fan. Ceilingfanparts were helpful though. I learned from them that my number description (that I posted above) were the old way the parts were listed. MFD is no longer used. now it's uF. I did not know the difference. Now that I do I see this capacitor is listed all over the internet but with the uF # system. I could of bought one cheaper elsewhere but since ceilingfanparts explained the # change, I bought it from them.
Thanks

Hunter parts dept is a crapshoot, it depends who you get on the phone. Switchco (ceilingfanparts.com) is very helpful!

Hi Gary, I'm also looking for a replacement capacitor for YCE 10mfd/5mfd/250VAC GY/5R/5BR/5GR for my Hunter ceiling fan. Can you please let me know which capacitor did you buy from ceilingfanparts.com and if it worked for you or not?
