I notice a slight rattle rubbing sound in the motor only when its going its not loud and it doesn't impede the spinning at all it has a great spin down time i just want to know what this slight rubbing grinding rattle noise is any idea I don't think its the bearings as I said it has a great spin down time. or is that just how these fans do?
PS. It could sounds like something rolling around inside it but there is nothing because spinning it by hand it doesnt make that noise only when its running.

I have no idea. When I sent the fan to you, it was silent.

well its not loud its just a slight hum of the motor and a weird slight clicky grind noise it might be due to the uneven ceiling it runs fine

I've had a few fans make a clicking sound from time to time. Do you have a light kit on it? I think that can cause that noise sometimes with the glass vibrating slightly against the fitter.

yes it has a single fitter on it the noise is more noticeable on low speed then high or medium I held the light it just sounds like the motor is rubbing against something
