At least there's no flywheel in this case. True, but bent blades are just as useless as a bent flywheel. The downrod and the light kit. The light kit? Take another look… Wow, amazing. I never knew " " made ceiling fans! You learn something new every day! I would have to agree. Some people ask less than that for the entire fan. It would be probably even be accurate to say most people.

The light kit? Take another look… Yes the light kit. It looks good. It would be probably even be accurate to say most people. Generally that's the case, however a lot of people ask a pretty penny for Casablanca fans...

Generally that's the case, however a lot of people ask a pretty penny for Casablanca fans... Even when they're not really Casablanca... Yes the light kit. It looks good. I think it looks outrageous yo! Ridding of a light completely would improve its appearance vastly in my opinion...

This Hunter light kit is still here: washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/hsh/4946967236.html Are you serious? Beverly Hills Fan Company? washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/app/4944173129.html Those are horrible pictures! But for $10 negotiable, what do you expect. Two Hampton Bay Cameron IIs: washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/hsh/4937376958.html washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/app/4942592753.html I really like these, especially the blue one. I hope to get one someday. There’s 2 blue ones in a local restaurant, they’re actually pretty powerful. Hunter Soujourn: washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/hsh/4941577742.html Does the Hunter logo spin with the blades? Hunter Soujourn: washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/hsh/4941577742.html Its nice, but the “Wow!!!” factor comes in when you look at the price tag! Good grief that’s absurd! And he’s quite upset with those ‘low-ballers’—maybe he should try a more reasonable price to eliminate that problem. New in box Hunter Coastal Breeze Plus: washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/hsh/4944649785.html How many CFM does that move? Casablanca Palisades: washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/fuo/4942311547.html Hangs as much as 17 inches from the ceiling? Not only is that worded poorly, I don’t believe it! So this is what they look like now washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/for/4942451549.html Another uglified Hunter! What a surprise. I don’t think this one is that bad, at least not compared to some of the other ones they have out there now. This is still for sale: washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/hsh/4941787779.html This really aught to be purchased… Hunter Low Profile IV if I'm right: washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/hsh/4913273417.html Yo this auction has my name all over it!!!!!! The Low Profile is awesome of course, second white fan would look okay without that light, Honeywell makes decent portable fans, two classic Panasonic models; one of which I'm actually looking for. That brass fan with the diamond pattern in the housing—anyone know what that is? My uncle had one of those in his kitchen, 6 cane blades with pretzel irons, it’s a beautiful unit. And I really want one. I can’t tell what that hugger is but I like it. That having been said, I’ll take it all! Here's a picture of the fan my uncle had, obviously this one has a different light kit but its the same thing: Anybody need blades? washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/zip/4943203096.html No, but I rarely pass up anything that’s free. Saving the best for last here! washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/hsh/4930021534.html I disagree! The blade irons are spoilt and this isn’t an R&M version.. that auction with the cordless phones, Low Profile, and mystery fan from my uncle’s house is better.

Yup... I really like these, especially the blue one. I hope to get one someday. There’s 2 blue ones in a local restaurant, they’re actually pretty powerful. Unless the older versions used larger motors, I don't see how they could could be particularly powerful. According to King Of Fans, the 44" version of the Cameron II (the one with cobalt blue blades and globes) only uses a 153X12 motor which isn't large by any means. Does the Hunter logo spin with the blades? It looks like it. Its nice, but the “Wow!!!” factor comes in when you look at the price tag! Good grief that’s absurd! And he’s quite upset with those ‘low-ballers’—maybe he should try a more reasonable price to eliminate that problem. I agree that it's pricy, however the fan would have cost far more than that brand new. How many CFM does that move? I'd guess 7,680 just like mine. Hangs as much as 17 inches from the ceiling? Not only is that worded poorly, I don’t believe it! At least the fan is nice. Another uglified Hunter! What a surprise. I don’t think this one is that bad, at least not compared to some of the other ones they have out there now. That is true. It still has that horrid switch housing though. This really aught to be purchased… Agreed! Vincent, are you interested? Yo this auction has my name all over it!!!!!! Here's a picture of the fan my uncle had, obviously this one has a different light kit but its the same thing: The Hunter Low Profile is awesome. The white fan is a Hampton Bay Landmark III/Plus (total piece of crap). The fan in the ad, and in your uncle's old kitchen is a JC Penny. I disagree! The blade irons are spoilt and this isn’t an R&M version.. that auction with the cordless phones, Low Profile, and mystery fan from my uncle’s house is better. Yes, however that Original is the best quality fan here even if the blade brackets are bent.

Then you best put that as the subject! Unless the older versions used larger motors, I don't see how they could could be particularly powerful. According to King Of Fans, the 44" version of teh Cameron II (the one with cobalt blue blades and globes) only uses a 153X12 motor which isn't large by any means. Maybe not, but I’ve felt them running, and they create quite the breeze. In the older Hampton Bay catalogs when they assigned the fans Comfort Ratings, it got an A or a B, so it must be one of the more powerful Hampton Bays. Maybe those specs are inaccurate, that is pretty small. That’s absurd! It must look so stupid. I agree that it's pricy, however the fan would have cost far more than that brand new. But its not new, its used! And I don’t think its cost $1,200 new like he says, that’s a little absurd. I’m a fan collector and I wouldn’t even spend that much money on a fan! I'd guess 7,680 just like mine. Nope! That CFM rating is inaccurate! It only moves 4,000. That is true. It still has that horrid switch housing though. They all have that…did you expect anything else? The Hunter Low Profile is awesome. The white fan is a Hampton Bay Landmark III/Plus (total piece of crap). The fan in the ad, and in your uncle's old kitchen is a JC Penny. Even if it’s a low quality fan, I still like the Landmark. What was the brand of it? CEC? Yes, however that Original is the best quality fan here even if the blade brackets are bent. But its not an R&M version, which means it was likely made……in……China……which explains why the irons are spoilt.

The overall selection is decent. However, the uglified Hunter is an eyesore and an utter, underpowered atrocity!

In the older Hampton Bay catalogs when they assigned the fans Comfort Ratings, it got an A or a B, so it must be one of the more powerful Hampton Bays. Maybe those specs are inaccurate, that is pretty small. Hmm. Since the 52" version used a 188X15 motor according to King Of Fans, a Comfort Rating of "A" would make sense. The 44" version would probably be more like a "C" though (assuming it does in fact use a 153X12 motor). But its not new, its used! And I don’t think its cost $1,200 new like he says, that’s a little absurd. I’m a fan collector and I wouldn’t even spend that much money on a fan! Believe it or not, $1,200 seems reasonable. Don't forget about the blades and the finish. Nope! That CFM rating is inaccurate! It only moves 4,000. You and I both know that it blows 7,680 CFM What was the brand of it? CEC? The JC Penny was just sold under their own brand. But its not an R&M version, which means it was likely made……in……China……which explains why the irons are spoilt. Even if it's not R&M, it could still be American-made...

The 44" version would probably be more like a "C" though (assuming it does in fact use a 153X12 motor). I probably should have underscored that I think the ones at the restaurant are 52”. As for the 44 inch ones, they’re probably only a C just because they’re 44”. 153X12 isn’t too bad for a 44”, I thought you were referring to that as in the 52” one has that size motor, in which case that would be undersized. Believe it or not, $1,200 seems reasonable. Don't forget about the blades and the finish. I’ll believe it only because I don’t see why you would be posting bogus information, but that is really outrageous! I can’t imagine that many people really pay that much for a fan.. Even if it's not R&M, it could still be American-made... It could be, but its unlikely. The JC Penny was just sold under their own brand. What company made them (since JC Penny doesn’t make fans..)?

Every "Classic Original" made prior to 2002 was American-made. What company made them (since JC Penny doesn’t make fans..)? Various companies including: Moss Sheng Yuan King Of Fans SMC

Various companies including: Moss Sheng Yuan King Of Fans SMC Supposedly, the ones currently in my uncle's house were made by Moss. Every "Classic Original" made prior to 2002 was American-made. I still vastly prefer the Are and M ones better. I guess they could have went to Wal-Mart instead and bought a fan for $44.99. There are a lot of options in between there! Don't be so extreme. 153X12 isn't particularly good for a 44" fan either. The 36" San Marino used a 153X12 or even up to a 153X15 if I'm right. That's a good point... but considering there are a lot of fans now which have 153X15 motors in 52" fans.. it starts looking less and less bad.. I didn't realize the San Marino used that large of a motor.

What on Earth is this? washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/hsh/4985157859.html On Earth, its an outrageous, overpriced ceiling fan. On the Moon, its just a useless piece of obscurity. Five fans: Hampton Bay Cameron II, Hunter Analise, Spray painted Gulf Coast hugger, Crest and an R&M Hunter Original: washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/hsh/4984963126.html I like them all, including that Christmas tree!
