That is extremely unfortunate. But do I know that feeling of near misses, it's one of the worst feelings I've ever experienced and continue to experience when I think of all the industrials that got trashed from the JC Penney Salon here! Definitely hope that you eventually track some of them down.

That's a shame. The Burger King I went to as a kid had some 52" antique brass Fasco Charlestons, but those got taken down a long time ago.

Have you ever considered calling the mosque and asking them what they did with the fans?
Maybe they'd be willing to let you take them... assuming that they haven't been destroyed, that is.
