Is it? Various ceiling fans hanging from the racks. 4 Gulf Coast Dixie Belle ceiling fans Hunter Original galore Looks like the green painted one has reaapeard out of the blue from somewhere. The Low Profile is indeed an ancient one, probably dating to 1984. I'd get it if I were you.
I'd also get the original with the pot-metal 'trumpet' canopy.....

I was wondering about that canopy.. Is that Original to the Hunter or was that something put together from something else? The low profile is missing all screws, but I could possibly get some screws from Home Depot that will fit..

That canopy is genuine Hunter, but not original to that fan. It's far older than the fan, very desirable.

Hmmm, what would I do with that Original with the Antique canopy? Mounting looks to have gone with the canopy..

The mounting system and canopy are probably from anywhere between 1958 and sometime in the 60s. It almost looks like a 'Disney special' (they replaced almost ALL of their late 60s Originals with newer ones in the late 90s, reusing the canopies and downrods of the previous fans).....

That's funny how I remember those old antique fans at Disney in Orlando back when I was like 4 or 5 years old.. That was the last time I was there.. That sucks that they got rid of them and replaced them..

I went back and got the Low Profile.. I didn't get the Original. They wanted $50 for it, and I was not going to spend that much..

$50 for an Original still isn't THAT bad of a deal, especially with the older canopy. Does this particular Habitat respond well to haggling?

Not really, they are firm on their prices.. If I point out missing screws or hardware they do sometimes come down a fraction.. $50 is tooo much for me, and for limited of space for fans I semi like..
