I love that install. My God that is beautiful! Was the chrome version ever available in Canada? That globe is rather undersized... 48", or "122 CM" actually. And two of them at that.

No I don't think the chrome version was available here and anyway theses were usually not sold like that here with that canopy, even in white it's rare to see them.
Rounded at 120 cm of course. 90, 120, 140, 150 instead of 91, 122, 142 and 152. That's how it's usually done for these sizes, the reste of are not rounded. SMC rounds 132 to 130 and 107 to 105 but that's too much.

Max C. check out my August sightings to see a picture of a 1980's chrome TAT exactly like this one that was for sale that I saw in person.

What was it? Do you know the brand of it? 300 watts...that seems quite high for a 230VAC fan. Maybe it has a halogen light kit? That is quite an awesome install. Poor blades! I wonder if it was manufactured by the same company that produced Guibb fans for the Canadian market. Its a shame that this is one of the newer versions... Whatever it is, there are visible TAT-like characteristics. Classy. If it is indeed 90s, that is one large motor for the era! Excellent combination. Beautiful.

It was a polished brass spinner with four oak and cane blades with three tulips lights like I got last Spring.
I'm not sure of the brand of that large brown spinner. It might be an older Styling.
The wattage will not be influenced by the voltage. The amperage will. 300 watts is the lights plus the motor on high speed.
Yes, it's exactly the same manufacture for this Guibb model as this model was available in Canada too and in this same box.
I don't mind it being a newer SMC Laguna. I actually like newer SMC Lagunas about as much as older ones. I just don't like the vents on this model.
It doesn't look much like a TAT but more like a cross between an Air Deco and a Hall Mark. Maybe it's a newer Hall Mark.
The motor on this S&P HTB generation is similar to the one on current Canarm CP56.

The amperage will. 300 watts is the lights plus the motor on high speed. Of course. Its just that the wattages I've seen on many 230VAC fans are not that high. Its also not impossible that "300 watts" is exaggerated for the sake of load calculations on branch circuits. The motor on this S&P HTB generation is similar to the one on current Canarm CP56. It must be the picture, then.
