I like the Daytons. They look like the 60" version.

I wonder if the canopies were cut, or if the larger half is hidden in the tiles. I've seen fans installed all the time without the canopies.

I've also seen some Industrials installed on dropped ceiling and the canopy was hidden on the other side of the ceiling with a hole(wider than the downroad obviously) for the downroad to go through.

I have to take pictures of the HB Landmarks at a restaurant with the motor up to the drop ceiling.

The fans in my church, the downrods go right into the drop ceiling.
I think it'd be easier to cut a plastic canopy than hide it.

Well I went to Newport, RI today. Boy do they have a lot of fans! 8) First store I went to had a 5 blade Original, black with cherry blades. I love the install on this, a nice, wood ceiling, installed on a beam. 2nd store was a restaurant with some older Originals. A 60's Original originally hung there, and they kept the canopy: Picture of a picture: Front door view: Another restaurant had this fan, and two more in the back I couldn't make out. I got a picture of a picture of the two rear fans: Front one: Here's a picture of the two fans: A clothing store had these modern things: Candle shop had two Nutone huggers: Some jewelry store had this hugger, and an older 14" Lakewood: 42" Emerson 1895: Cheap huggers in a gallery: 36" blenderfan (first 36"-er I've seen in real life): Maserati 8) : Two of these industrials in a fancy Starbucks (tall ceiling): There's three 42" PB Hunter Coastal Breezes in a Subway, along with a 36" Toastmaster: Emerson/Sears TOC, and a FASCO Great Room (first I've seen of both in real life, also first FASCO I've seen in real life): Key Largo (?) and a Hunter Low Profile in a store: Four of these white 42" Coastal Breezes at the Breakers mansion gift shop: And finally, the Stop and Shop with the 5 white Originals. I remember seeing these the first time I came to Newport. It was also the first Originals I've seen in real life. There were a few I missed, like a restaurant with 6 Casablanca Bourbon Streets (COOL RESTAURANT!!!!), and a ceiling suspended antique Diehl industrial.

Fixed. I am kind of disappointed that I can't embed with my Picasa album. They upload so much faster and in a much higher res than Photobucket.
