awesome, love all the fans!!
the 2nd one has its motor and blades exactly like CG high breeze but a little flatter.. but i've never seen such new KDKish canopies on an indian-looking fan
its strange for me to see SMC KN industrials with the beehive canopies come in 2 pieces, in UAE, all SMCs old or new come with one-piece canopy (except the lower canopies of some SMCs), the beehives we have look quite different as well

The second one is what CG's look like in the US today. They're relabeled for Airmaster and a few other companies. Great air movers but the bearings do not last long at all.
LOVE all the Gold Lines.

These are all at a flea/farmers market somewhere in New Jersey. This place has 17 first-generation Gold Lines and a mix of about two dozen 2nd and 3rd generation Gold Lines. The 2nd genrations are labeled 'Banvil' like the one I have, the newest ones are labeled 'Banvil' but also with the Envirofan logo in a box in the upper right corner of the label (probably something like "Banvil: By Envirofan").
There are only 4 SMCs remaining, as most of them have either been replaced with new Gold Lines or crappy 56" Dayton industrials due to bearing problems.
This place was built in the late 1970s with a strict mix of white R&M originals and 1st generation Gold Lines. Unfortunately, the people who ran the place failed to realize that originals need to be oiled every so often, so most of them burned out and were replaced with either the SMCs or 1st & 2nd generation Gold Lines. Only three originals remain and one is probably dead.

You should offer to help maintain the fans. And keep any broken ones.

And make sure you're around if they ever decide to demolish that building, you might make some money off of some of us!
Looks like they have at least one Original left. Those were probably too maintenance-intensive for a facility with that many fans.

Soooo many industrials! I love the shot with all the old Envirofans in a line, that's amazing and I would love to see it in person!
This takes me back to a bargain bin type place we had around years back that I've mentioned before, where I got my blue pedestal fan. They had a mix of older and newer TATs, SMCs, some sort of copper looking things, and stuff I don't even remember well enough to identify now. Probably about 100 fans in all, unfortunately demolished before I knew how to contact people to get the fans.

My Wal-Mart has a bunch of these over the registers: That's the same fan I got out of my church, but with a CG style lower canopy, and a Relite style upper canopy

The second fan is a Canarm High Performance made by Crompton Greaves in India. Is this one 48'' or 56''? Wow I love the SMC's! Theses seems rare in the US really labeled SMC and not Hampton Bay. The row of Gold Lines is just so WOW! Is the second last fan a Banvil Silver Line second generation? (late 1980s probably) It's definitely the same as theses they have at the Berri-Uqam bus station in downtown Montréal. i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj89/Jean2291/Banvil56Fan.jpgThanks for sharing Andrew. I remember you already post pics of some of theses same fan. Would be awesome to have a few of them in the galleries. Most of them are good quality pics, not taken too far from the fans and not blurry.

The second fan is a Canarm High Performance made by Crompton Greaves in India. Is this one 48'' or 56''? it is a 56". Yeah, these aren't overly common, especially in the early 80s form seen here. Also.. these SMCs actually replaced originals. Yes, I'm beginning to think it might be the Silver Line II.. as the plain-looking thing you have is apparently a 1st generation Silver Line. Yeah, I was at this place back in 2006.. when I still had a crap-ass Kodak point & shoot. These days, I have a digital SLR and a big bag of fast glass, so I try to get the best quality.

Wow thanks for the photos! Gotta love these industrials. I'm an industrial fan fan so these are indeed eye candy!
