Downrod will be difficult. It's 3/8" pipe as opposed to 1/2" or 3/4". I would use a reducer to fit 1/2" downrod, then you can use a generic ball/socket/canopy.
Casablanca switch caps will work, I would order one from them.

Thanks Dan, I realized the homestead had 3/8" NPT threads & my thoughts went in the same direction yours did, regarding a 3/8" male to 1/2 female NPT brass adapter. I have been able to round up a generic Westinghouse hanger, canopy, 3/4" ID ball & a 12" long down rod, all in Antique brass. I'm going to have to "Jerry rig" the 12" down rod length so it will be correct for a 8 foot ceiling. I also did contact Casablanca via e-mail explaining what I as looking for regarding the switch cap in Antique brass with a 4-3/8" O.D. I had found a Casablanca p/n for the switch cap that I figured would work, however it has been super-ceded by a new p/n. Bottom line, I ended up ordering the cap. Thanks for your help. I will post either some photos or a video of the Homestead once it's up & running. Best Regards, Jerry

Has anyone bought any antique brass Homesteads from me?
Apparently something went wrong in my bookkeeping system, and I cannot find several AB Homesteads that I have no record of selling. I am wondering if I sold certain fans, and marked different ones as sold?

There are times when I work in or near my fan shop, and there are weeks, sometimes months, when I dont have time to access my fan shop. If you are interested in buying a fan when I'm not accessible to my shop, it can take weeks or months before I can ship.
I am working in my shop this week. If you're interested in buying a fan, now is the time! Some time next week I'll be transitioning to my organ shop and it will be a while before I'll be back in the fan shop.

You still have that AB lighted housing hugger pictured with the one homestead?

No, that sold a long time ago.
I normally turn down lighted housing fans so I'll keep my eyes open.

How much for the Mirage? And does the HomeStar control come with anything (or is it part of another fan)?
