Mr. Neuman, When you pointed out that you didn't see anywhere where that article says it's a Hunter I started to question my sanity. Then I figured out how I got there. Google! One of the links on the page takes you to a picture of the remote module where the person mentions that remote module came from a Hunter fan. nuxx.net/gallery/v/stuffivemade/IMG_5778.jpg.htmlSame (well, similar) crappy remote module. Same problem.

Yes but the article also mentioned some other manufacturer.
In any case, it's clearly not correct, as you do not have the correct speeds.
Still havent found a model number for the non remote version. Brian Hicks might know.

That kind person " Daniel G." has informed me that his fan is a model number 22932.
I'm going to try to source some parts from Hunter.
