Woah some of those SMCs are close!
I have to say, I kinda like those Hunters. I'm more impressed with their overseas offerings right now than the junk they're selling here.
I do like the JMC as well.

Now at present i too own a couple of these fans,(a 56" and a 48") and their tags say "crompton parkinson high efficiency". Blades are quite different for both. they are pentagonal in shape unlike yours which has a regular shape. i will post photos soon. by the way can u post the pic of the tag of your fan

I love the Marelli, the CEC, and the early SMCs. I also love the FANCO mosque simply because of the sheer volume of fans!
It seems like mosques always have a TON of fans. Is that a fair assumption? Churches typically have fans, but usually a very small number compared to the ceiling height and square footage. Except in Chicago. Churches in Chicago tend to have excessive numbers of ceiling fans.

I'm glad you're posting sightings again. Are you gonna add pictures in the galleries again?
The Toshiba pedestal fan is very cool. I remember you once said that you never saw Toshibas in the Emirates. Is this the first one you see? It looks like the Toshiba grill was put on the Sanyo.
Awesome Marelli Maestralino reproduction! They are seen more and more in stores and restaurants as they have become trendy again.
The fan with the four palm leaf style blades in not a Fanimation.
The Fancos reminds me a Canarm CP56 with different canopies.
The old SMC's look nice installed with the red hurricane style lamps.
Where was the fan on the 17th picture taken?

Except in Chicago. Churches in Chicago tend to have excessive numbers of ceiling fans. Mosques trend to have more rooms with flat ceilings which is easier to install fans on and lower ceilings too while churches usually have peaked ceilings or dome shape ceiling and often an actual dome is present above the autel. The height of the ceiling sometimes makes it useless to install any fans on. They would have to have a pole of at least 2 meters which is difficult to find for ceiling fans and even then.

Most churches have fans on a short downrod even if the ceiling is high, they are for heat destratification.

in uae, older mosques tend to have lots of fans as compared to new ones, many new mosques dont have any fans, however.. if they would have, it would most probably be a KDK, panasonic or SMC... downrods are usually long, except if the ceiling or false ceiling is low here, inclined ceilings are very uncommon as compared to colder climates I'm glad you're posting sightings again. In India, CG whirlwinds are labelled as "CG cool breeze".
As for that Pak fan seen in the bathroom, it looks like "gold coin" an old Indian brand.
