I finally got around to taking pics of some of the fans in and around the Jacksonville/Camp Lejeune NC area. Therer are still plenty others that I did not get around to taking pics of, so I might update this thread if I get around to getting some pics of them. Let's start this off with the least exciting but the closest. This fan is the one that I have in my apartment. It's in the master bedroom and as you can see it's just a plain builder. There are tons of these around my apartment complex.
Next off, the following few fans were at some antique stores in Swansboro. The Hunter Original and 6-bladed fan were both at the Swansboro Antique Center, the only antique store I've found so far that carries any amount of WWII militaria! The store had two of these 6-bladed fans and one Original.
These two fans were at another antique store that was down the street a little. They had a couple of the white 6-bladed fans with different light kits on each, I only got pics of two of them. The last time I was in this store all the fans were off, it's a shame they had them on now as the pics aren't quite as good with them on. There were two other fans that I didn't get a pic of, some newer floral one that looked bizarre and an older one that looked like the original Hunter Low Profile but with five blades and a different switch housing. I should note that the white spinner is one of those K-Mart types (I've got a black one that I've posted pics of on here) however that light kit on it is something new, because it comes with a mushroom globe.
Now we're back in Jacksonville. These Moss WF Series were both at a local comic/hobby shop. It's a real great place with lots of neat stuff!
This Industial was at a Wal-Mart that was on the far end of Jacksonville. It's a new Wal-Mart that they just recently put up.
Holy Moly! The first time I went into this Wal-Mart I was excited because they had BigAssFans! I never thought I'd see one in person, but they had four of them in the garden department. The things are huge, move a ton of air, and give off a big humm.
Well there you have it. A little tour of just a few of the fans around Jacksonville, NC. As I stated above I'll try and get some more pics of some of the other fans. A local Hardees has a few Fasco Charlestons. On base in the chow halls they all have chrome 5-bladed fascos as well. I hope you all enjoy these!
