Yes the Kichler has a light on the bottom. I wonder if the Les thés David boutiques in the US has these fans too or any fans at all. Can't imagine that light really does much lighting..
Not sure.. never been to any..

It's an accent light, my favorite kind. They are quite a few locations in the northeast. www.davidstea.com/ca_fr/storelocator/

Here are the last sightings of 2015. I went again the old bus terminal at Berri-UQAM in downtown Montréal that has a whole bunch of mid to late 1980's Banvil Silver Lines that I posted pictures of before in 2010. Even though the place is not used as a bus terminal anymore, it's still open and the fans are still there. They still look exactly the same painted in silver. Some are off, some are on. I was able to get pictures of the fans inside of a laundromat located in the Village that I passed in front a lot over the course of the year. It has three fans. One late 1970's, early 1980's Canarm near the entrance, one 1980-1981 Quatre Saisons 140 cm with three metal curved blades and metal canopies in the middle and at the back a newer white straight metal blade 140 cm fan that appears to be a Westinghouse. They were often on high excepted this time in December they were off. Canarm Quatre Saisons, we can see the faded orange and blue logo A popular bar in the Village that was renovated in 2014 now have this Westinghouse Industrial. The fan must have been added somewhere in 2015 because in October 2014 it wasn't there yet. A different laundromat in the Saint-Laurent area has two or three Canarm CP56 I hope that you enjoyed the sightings for 2015.

Here are the sightings for Janurary. For those who like discussing about current fans and what Home Depot sales, this is for you. Normally Home Depot offers in store only Hunters and Hampton Bays. Last year they offered already two Westinghouse's models. This year they started selling the Cobra Elite 120 cm. They now changed the name for only Elite. It's actually a variant of the Cobra fan that has existed since 2000 and this version came out a little letter around 2002-2005 so it's not a new model at all. Even though it's a pretty modern model I like the idea. It's currently one of the only fan I would recommend someone to buy on the Home Depot rack. The Beaver Hall bistro in downtown has four vintage fans. There are two Casablanca Broadway and two 4 Saisons Victorian, the 1986-1987 version. All have three schoolhouse lights to match the other light fixtures in the place. The ambiance is dim and relaxing, it's beautiful but awful for taking pictures without flash so the pictures are very blurry. One of the Casablanca Broadway near where I was sitting. I'm not sure of the size of these but it seems like they are smaller than 132 cm. They are probably like the Panama or Delta II and 127 or maybe 120? I would imagine they were made between 1981 to 1984. They have a variable speed control so I assume Slumber Quiet in these years. Another one near the front of the restaurant. One of the two 1986-1987 4 Saisons Victorian at the back. The cane faces the ceiling. Enjoy!

Is the Westinghouse a spinner?

Hey! That Westinghouse is a Lowes fan In all seriousness, that is quite a sleek model, however far superior fan choices do exist at Home Depot Canada. The Hampton Bay Altura, Caswyk (is that even still available?), Pilot and Sidewinder for example are all higher quality. Those Casablanca Broadways are astounding. The light kits are actually decent for once too. The pictures could have been far worse to be honest Is the Westinghouse a spinner? Indeed it is.

I have never been to Lowes but it's now sold at Home Depot which I find cool. Normally we would see it at Réno-Dépôt. I was not meaning about quality but how the fan looks and only on fans available in stores. The website is very different.
Yes I actually like those lights on those fans. Ah good is the pictures are not horrible then.

Yo! My uncle has an Altura in his living room, it runs continuously through the winter to reclaim heat and its been going for several years now.. It puts out a pretty strong breeze on down draft, and its remarkably quiet..
The pictures could have been far worse to be honest I agree, I think we've all seen much worse photographs than this.. Interesting.. I'm taking somewhat of a liking to this model.. Is it's quality reasonable?

Here are the sightings for February. A Subway restaurant in downtown Montréal still has older fans from the 1990's. It's getting a little bit rare as most of them had their fans changed in the recent renovations of all the restaurants. They are three antique brass Canarm Mini Builder from the Originals collection. They have very nice high gloss oak blades and a chunky detachable switch housing. They must be from around the mid to late 1990's. Early 2000's might be possible too. On this one we can see a part of the tag that says Originals collection. An arena in my area built in the mid 1990's has a multipurpose room with many Canarm CP36 installed in it. It seem they are controlled by not more than two fans per controls because many of them can be set at different speeds. This one was off. This one has it's blades twisted in differents ways and is always spinning very slowly. It's funny to see. It reminds me of what we see in movies. A clothing store in the Plateau Mont-Royal area specialized in 1960's clothing has this MEC lookalike fan in it. There is also a 2000's Nadair 132 cm ornate fans there. It looks like a Novalis without the light. At first I thought the blades of this one were replacement for a Banvil Bronze Line but it might be a later version that came with these blades. Normally we see these fans with much wider blades with no lines. Finally one that has it's canopies in the right place. Notice the controller on the ceiling. It's on the second lowest speed. It was spinning pretty slowly for speed three on four. They have the version that has has a light dimmer. They added a decoration around the motor. My local town hall has this Canarm Catalyst VI installed in the snack bar. One bracket is twisted. Here is an older and bad quality picture from 2012 of the Marelli Maestralino 140 cm that was installed in the Franklin & Marshall store in Toulouse, Midi-Pyrénées. They are so well made. They are probably the best reproductions of older fans. Too bad the place closed recently. The next pictures were sent to me by friends of fans they have in their place. A cool and older polished brass Welco GE vent 132 cm in my friend's apt in Buenos Aires. I'm not sure if this model was Industria Argentina. It doesn't seem like it was. I'm guessing it's from the late 1980's. Barcala seem to have bought Welco and continued making this model in a more contemporary version with skinny vents. The fans in another friend's apt in Kuala Lumpur. A recent dark chrome Deka X6 140 cm. Remote controlled. A regular KDK K15V0 150 cm. Regulator controlled. His parents place has Panasonics. A regular F-M15A0 150 cm. Regulator controlled. I'm not sure what is this Panasonic model. It's 140 cm and remote controlled. It seems like it was discontinued recently. Enjoy and comment!
