Normally they should not be any newer than 1988 but under the Canarm label they should be mostly 1985-1986. Wow, you should get this NIB Canarm. It's defiantly from the 2000's possibly late 90s.. Has the www.canarm site labeled on the box, and the motor pretty much looks the same, and has those same blades with the imprints stamped into them.. It's most likely a Canarm CP56 then. The current Canarm Commercial/Industrial fan. This version started around 1994. They are very good quality for something of theses days and have a vintage look to them with the well curved blades with lines on them and a pretty thick well rounded classic motor. www.vintageceilingfans.com/membergalleries/gallery/showimage.php?i=349&c=134This is one of the many pictures of theses Canarm you will find in the galleries. They are extremely common all across Canada in the largest version (CP56). The midsize version (CP48) is a lot more rare and the smallest version (CP36) is mediumly common. The large ones are even available in glossy brown and glossy black but they are rare in theses colors.

Hum, that's probably the one then.. Aren't theses rare in Florida? In the United States they usually seem to be found in the Northeast and the Midwest.

Probably not, they are more recent. I've been to New York City before but it was in 2008. If I go back I will make sure to go to this station. This one almost looks brown on this picture.

It looks like it's brown, but it's actually black. The fan was simply reflecting the brown color of the floor.
Oh, and these were only installed last summer, due to the fact that the air conditioning in the station is atrociously bad.

I love these Canarms! The 4 Seasons is a great configuration. Awesome size, awesome curved blades, awesome everything. Humm yes! It's my favorite size for metal curve blade fans and a lot of other spinners too. In a house they would not look too big or too small for most of rooms.

The quality is better than the Wyndham House, but they don't have a switch housing, which makes it look more retro looking..

Here's a sample of the many fans at Rona Le Quincaillier store on l'Île Perrot I haven't been to since 2001 or 2000. I used to go to this specific store more often in the 1990's and up to 2001 at most. In 1999 it got renovated and enlarged. It used to have what seemed to be black spinners with chunky rounded motors and three wide metal curved blades. They really seem black in my memory but they might have been very dark brown or painted over. In 1999 when it was renovated they put different fans. I remembered seeing some straight blade fans and one random vintage four metal blade fan. The four blade fan was not there before the renovations. I finally went back to this store today. I was happy to see that it did not changed too much since the early 2000's. There's an interesting mixture of fans there. Most of the fans are either some white Canarm CP56 and some of theses mysterious straight blade fans. Two fans are unique. One is a Banvil Silver Line and the other unique fan is that four metal blade fan. (Yes! It's still there). I only took pictures of the more mysterious fans. I already have a lot of pictures of Canarm CP56 and Banvil Silver Lines and I don't get too much comments anymore when I post theses. One of the straight blade fan. Aren't theses Con-Tech? They look TMT made but lately two of them have showed on Kijiji in smaller sizes (90 and 120) and they have a pre 1986 4 Seasons sticker on top of the motor. I used to see theses fans a lot more before 2002. They have become a lot more rare. Another one. The four metal blade fan. In my memory the blades were straight more like a straight blade 4 Seasons but it turns out that they are curved blades which is even better. At first I thought of a Palco but I realized it's the same fan as the three 140 cm ones at the church where my grand-parents are buried. This one is definitely 120 cm. It's smaller than all the other 140 cm fans in there. I love how the blades a tilted upwards on this size and it's awesome that they made it in 120 cm too. For comparison with the larger equivalent fan in the said church, check the pictures I took of them in August 2010 in this thread. They are on page 13. I realized that theses fans uses the same motor as theses except it's not light kit adaptable: www.vintageceilingfans.com/unknownceilingfanshongkong70s80s.htmlThe four blade fan is clearly from the early 1980's if not late 1970's but if the straight blade fans are really 4 Seasons and with the older logo means that they would be 1985 at newest. It's odd but cool that they used older fans to re install (1999) in a renovated store. It seems that the four blade fan and the straight blade ones were painted over. They all seem to use the same matte white paint and the gold lines around the motors are invisible.

I was just about to link that same fan until I read more and saw that you already did.. That's a very interesting fan, infact both are neat.. I'm glad it's still there.. I like going back to places to where I haven't been in a long time and see that the original fans are still there.. Doesn't happen much anymore here, when It does, I usually expect that they won't be much longer, and usually I'm right..
