So far the summer have been rather comfortable this year with no heat waves, only a few days here and there that are warmer like today 28 with a feeling of 36. Ironically the hottest days I had so far where before June 21st. It's a good summer for doing a lot of outdoor activities.

Lots of rain last night, no thunder though. Very strong rain at first and then lighter after dark late into the night. This was around 2AM. This morning some yards had deep water, so it was a very saturating rain.

A few days ago there was a tropical storm followed by a 20 hour power cut. Now it's nice, sunny, dry with temperatures around 20 to 24°C. Very comfortable.

Irma is starting to move in here, we're just getting the outer bands and we've had winds up to 60 since last night. Some tornado warnings. Our power I'm sure will go off at some point and may be or a couple of weeks, this is a bad hurricane.

It was cooler and rainier last week but this week it's awesome with lots of sun and temperatures around 23 to 26°C. It difficult to imagine that it's chaos in Florida while there's not a single cloud in the sky here and not any wind.

Firstly, my prayers to everybody living through the recent hurricanes and tornados!
Here, things have been hot for most of the summer, with several days reaching almost 100°F (about 37°C)! Come early August, most of British Columbia experienced widespread smoke from extreme wildfires in the interior of the province. This only (fully) cleared up in my area last week.
