Here is a Duracraft Stacking Fan that I bought a few weeks ago at the thrift store, from 2006. So far this was my fourth fan I got this year, for a total of 5 fans this year in the collection. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUO6o3qBWOc

I have always liked those, I didn't know they were still making them in 2006.

That's a neat piece.. I always found these interesting.. Clever design, but I can't imagine all that many people really stacked them..

I have always liked those, I didn't know they were still making them in 2006. Yeah, I think these actually came out in 2006 (the stacking ones) I'm not sure how long they made them but I know the regular turbo fan models were around longer than the stacking ones. And yeah, it is a neat piece. I kind of thought maybe I shouldn't get it but I figured for $3 might as well. I don't see Duracrafts around as often as I did before.

I think the regular turbo models never went away,, as far as I know it, they're still sold to this day under the Chillout name.. 3 dollars was definitely a good deal for one of these.. They're only getting less and less common..

True, I heard the Chillout turbo fans were discontinued though, but they're still on their site, so not sure. I know you could still get the Duracraft box fans and turbo fans as late as 2011 at CVS and Kmart...

They're still available on Amazon.. But considering how long that design has been around, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets discontinued sooner or later..
