Normally I would just put this in an existing thread, but there are different stories and sightings about the dying restaurants of Ruby Tuesday and Bennigans What fans have you seen in these places?
1. My local one used to have about 25 PB 4B Summer Breezes (they looked about 86-91). They hung on around an 11' ceiling. I remember they had what seemed to be 1 and a half foot downrods. They had the four arm light kits with the frosted tulip shades. I always remembered them to always be on low, except the one over the entrance to the mall, that one was always on medium. They were removed around 2008 and in 2011 that location closed. I thought it was cool to see so many fans in a standard size restaurant.
2. There's Ruby Tuesday about 25 miles from my house in a hotel. Like the other one, they used to have about 25 fans it seemed. In the restaurant they had Emerson Designers, PB. Like the other location they had 1'6" rods on about an 11' ceiling. They had four arm light kits with the tulip shades. Over the bar there are 3 gloss black designers, without lights. The PB designers were removed a while back. I popped in about a year ago and found that the 3 Gloss Black fans over the bar are still there. All of the fans were run on low, I've never seen them on any other speed.
3. There was a Ruby Tuesday around SW Indiana at some point, not sure if it's still there. I remember there were about 5 or 6 delta II's, PB with 4 arm light kits. Unlike the other locations I've seen these ones had the stock downrods and hung higher. If I remember correctly, there were 2 in the bar and maybe 4 in the main dining area. Not sure if these are still there, I only went there a couple times when I was a kid.
4. There was a Bennigans somewhere in south Chicagoland that had what I thought were brass stealths. I could be wrong, I was very young. They also could've been copies. I remember they were in a triangle formation which was odd.
5. Theres a Bennigans on Michigan Ave. in Chicago, right across from Grant Park. They used to have about a dozen Hunter Passport III's throughout the restaurant. They remodeled about 5 years back and now only like 3 of the fans remain.
6. I saved the best for last. There used to be a Bennigans right up the street from the one above. It only had one fan. An AB Casablanca Victorian SQ, with a 5 light kit. It had the stock rod and hung right over the door. It was off for the longest time, then was run nonstop on a slow medium until the restaurant closed. I was too young to even know how to get it. Very cool fan for kinda a crappy restaurant.
I would include TGI fridays in this thread, but from what I know they only used gloss black Delta II's.
